Hi, I have been working on my Freddie Mercury site 'Planet Mercury'. I would really like some thoughts on it and ideas on things I could include to improve it. The address is: link
Also if anyone has a Queen website maybe we could exchange links.
Yes, I also do think some design changes are necessary. Too many colours. Navy and brown doesn't fit togehter. And some sites are black. A visitor do not have a whole view of the site - when everything's different. And If you have those .gif's with Freddie and background is also with his face, it's too much. Maybe you need some help then? Ny site is easy, but I wanted to keep it in the colours of Taylor's last album. I could help you with arranging sth suitable for the opening site, and the rest I suggest leaving not too coloured and maybe on one-colour background which would pass. I learn computer graphics, so maybe I could help a bit. And if you like, l;ink to my site is below. For the time being I have no link page, but am planning to have one, then I could add your site.
The background is a little distracting, especially with the additional pictures of Freddie. I would go with a neutral color, maybe a lighter brown. Some pictures aren't visible, but that's easily fixed. Other than that, I like the content. It's well written, which you don't always find on websites.
You actually have a very well made site based on technical analysis from Dr. Watson link
Some highlights:
-No spelling problems
-All links work
-You have a 6-word description of your site in a META tag, good!
-You have a nice, short list of 26 important keywords in a META tag, good!
-According to Altavista, about 64 pages have links to link
I like the way your site is written, especially the comparison between Freddie and Michael Jackson. However, you should really work a bit more on the hommepage graphics, it's too crowded. Let it be simpler, but elegant and you'll read some good reviews quickly, I can tell you, cos the texts are really good!
