Check these guys out if you haven't heard of them. They have lots of free downloads of full-length tracks and videos. I highly recommend: link
Which is a song featured in 'Vanilla Sky' when Tom Cruise is making his 'fall' at the end. It's strange, but for some reason I can't stop playing it lately. There's also a live version which is actually what was used in the film. As for the lyrics.. as explained at the site, they are nonsense, a sort of guide vocal which they decided to keep.
I plan to start buying their stuff soon :)
Hey! They come from my country :):):)
I don't know if you know this song but it's great: "Dánarfregnir og jarðarfarir". I don't know If it was on any of their album...

Hver er tilgangurinn í því :P Er ekki nóg að vita að ég sé frá Íslandi....
En svona ef ég myndi vilja segja það, hvernig er eiginlega skítapleis skrifað á ensku :P Æ nei þetta er nú bara fínn staður...
Það er ekkert smá gott að skrifa allt í einu á íslensku :P Þarf ekki að hugsa áður en ég skrifa :D

Byebye;*
I made a mountainbike trip from Keflavík across Thingvellir, Laugarvatn, Haukadalur (Geysir, Gullfoss...), Búrfell via Landmannaleith to Landmannalaugar, back through Jökuldalir to the ringroad, and on via Kirkjubaejarklaustur to Skaftafell, and back via Vík, Skógar, Hella, Selfoss to Reykjavík, where I finally spent about three days. Sometimes tough but all in all very nice and secluded (in September).
Icelandic is just the best language.
Looking at all those names Hank mentions makes me wanna...do something that feels good.
I actually did an Icelandic language module in my first year at Uni, and bizarrely that was the module I did best in that year. Yet know I can only remeber how to say 'hello', 'time', 'farmer' and Bjork Godmundsdottir.
Iceland rocks. Why does it have to be so bloody expensive there though?
While talking about nice Icelandic bands: anyone here knows Múm? Or Gus Gus? Anyone who likes the more experimental stuff by Sigur Rós should maybe check out Múm. Incredible how much is happening in the field of electronic music in such a small country.
