I think people's ideas about Freddie is nice & respectable.
but I don't know what was Freddie's purpose ?!
let's see it:
Freddie Mercury: "people are apprehensive when they meet me ,they think I'm going to eat them(!!!)but underneath it all ,I'm quite shy."
(from:link.
and Roger :"noone ever really know Freddie ,he was shy ,gentle and kind ,he wasn't the person he put over on stage."
(from:link.
yes,all of us know it dear Roger.
there is no doubt about that.
who can to think except it?!
Freddie was an individual like the rest of us in this world but he stood out: he had talent, a way with words and music, that set him apart from his contemporaries. He accomplished so much in a life that was cut short too soon. Who knows how much more he could have produced if he had lived?
All of us miss him every day. He was one of a kind and there will never be another one quite like him in this lifetime.
i often wonder what freddie would be doing now. i recall us guys on here wondering what hed be like judging pop idol....!
I wish often that God had chosen to take anyone other than freddie, i know it sounds nasty, but i think freddies death was a great loss to music. who knows what other classics he could have produced.
Ammmmm...I always believe that ideas are different and we should accept and respect these.
but I read an interesting reply here.(of course for me).
Bob the shrek : all of us miss him everyday

when I think

when I happy

I don't miss him because I am not a saddo.
He does not occupy my thoughts 24 hours a day, in fact he doesn't occupy my thoughts 24 hours in a year. He was just a guy who sang in my favourite group, that's all - he was nothing special in my life and never will be. When he died I didn't get upset, my life carried on as normal, I didn't feel as though something was missing -why should I? Okay, there are no more new Queen albums to look forward to but that doesn't bother me, I accepted that and moved on.
People who feel the need to 'talk' to him every day, can't get through the day without playing his music...blah blah blah...in my opinion, need psychiatric help.
Anything else you want to know?
Bit insensitive Bob, but each to their own. When I first got into Queen back in 95 I had that feeling of sadness. Sadness for OUR loss. We're allowed to care for a complete stranger.
It didn't last long, but it's only natural for some to get that feeling of loss. Sometimes I'll catch myself playing the "what if.." card in my head. Or just thinking of what he left for us, the fans.
Peace,
Adam.
I've never seen the point in deifying musicians. People tend to forget that they're only human, just with a special talent (well, some of them at least - I don't refer to Victoria Beckham or the Idols!), who eat, drink, sleep, brush their teeth with a toothbrush and fart in bed, just like the rest of us.
People do tend to look on Freddie as a martyr, but when he or anyone else consumes their every waking moment and they can't do anything without thinking about him I really don't think that's healthy.
I can't to beleive somebody is in love with QUEEN but he don't love Freddie!!and he hadn't that feel of saddness about death's Freddie !
in my mind it's unbelievable a little!

he never feel sad about death's Freddie(maybe he became happy for death's Freddie but he loves QUEEN!!)
I glory that I could to knew a person who has great and magnificent life with bravery even when he realized ,he will die as soon as he think.
I glory to knew a person who fought with hard illness till the last day of his life.
he reached the pinnacle of fame and populary when he became ill ,but he combat and created everlasting & great songs untill the last day.
In fact he continued with bravery.
he was talented and a great musician who could ecstasize people around the world.
he could to jumped hearts of people in the world with his music & melody.
we are proud of him ,all of the fans of QUEEN.
I take the energy from his lyrics ,music and his behavior against difficulties of life.can you tell me why I or somebody respect to him need psychiatric help?!!
where is in the world if you get energy & nice feel from thing or some body , it calls insanity?!
Message to newer users - Bob used to be an undertaker, so has seen more death than the rest of us put together (hopefully), which tends to bring out a very plain speaking manner on the subject.
