I think I can do better. The pitch really goes off due to my synchcronizing and I coulda done it differently, changing the speed without affecting pitch.. I didn't even think about that.
I'll redo the whole thing soon if I can get that aspect slightly better.
Yeah unfortunately those were leftover in the instrumental I used.. it's the Annie Crummer version :-P I can get rid of the one during the intro by simply editing to the real start.. not sure about the one later.
I love that instrumental, it's so funky. I got the single from Real Groovy in new Zealand: link
About $11 delivered after the exchange rate.. not bad :)
Ah, HA! Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! Well done! I love it! It's in the same vein as the "Living On My Own" remix on GHIII, Which is my favorite version of said song. Great work!
By the way, What do you use to make all of your edits and remixes? I have been planning a few extended versions of a few choice songs, But I'm a bit of a tard you see... Not too sure what to use. ;)
j/k ;)
I use Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge 6.0
As I understand it, Sony has bought it and it might even have a new name.
I've been using Cool Edit Pro 2.0 lately for vinyl cleanup but I hate the way that program works in general. I've got a name & code to register it, but the bastards require you to get a file from them that lets you enter the registration, and it seems nobody has this program so I've only got 19 more days with that.
Great mix! Just fix that pitch thing you mentioned and it'll be spot-on. Btw, Cool Edit Pro doesn't exist anymore as Adobe bought it over. It's now called Adobe Audition. It's actually a much nicer functioning program now.
Peace,
Adam.
So both programs have been bought by bigger companies. Yeah, I'll have to see if I can get an illegal copy of the newer version then.
Dan, glad you got on AIM. I've been sleeping at night lately but add 'deakyfan' to your list and feel free to msg me anytime I happen to be on :)

Sony has bought it and released "Sony Sound Forge 7.0". I have a copy, but for several reasons I have not yet been able to install it and see how it works.
I'll be out of town for some time, but as soon as I return I'll contact you and see if I can "help" you somehow. You deserve it for sure.
Cheers,
