Remember the cat in my profile picture, "Mustard"? She got really sick earlier this last week, and she had to be put down. I'm not too sad about it, really, but I'm going to miss having a cat in the household because my dad and his girlfriend aren't going to get another cat. All we have now are the several tanks full of tiny fish, which are boring IMO... :P
Blackie, she was 12 years old, at least. She would have probably died soon one way or another anyways. If she had been my cat personally, I probably would have spared her from suffering being sick, myself
I'm the resident expert on pet deaths indeed, thanks Cat :)
It's been like four months since my little Annie died. But fortunately I still have Carly.. she's over 12 though, and one of my previous cats died at 12 too. But so far she seems alright.. she's sleeping a little more these days, but still has her wild play time every evening..
Anyway, still having her is why I haven't gotten another to replace Annie. At first it seemed very quiet and empty around here, but Carly and I have adjusted well and we're closer than ever. She was always threatened by having another female around anyway.
We sleep together.. her above my head on the pillow. It's so sweet!
I'd say get another cat. You can't go from having one to none at all. And you'll get the fun of raising a new kitten if you go that route.. they're so cute!
Sorry about your cat Dark.
One day I'd love to get a cat like that, they're very beautiful.
Problem is that my dad is allergic, so my house is "CAT FREE ZONE".
lots of people i know have dogs because they think cats are too moody. but i think cats are smart- they own you. They have a special mystic ability to sense when you need them around. Im sorry you lost your cat Dark but im sure hes gone to a better place...
