My favorite gig has always been the '79 Concert for Kampuchea. A solid show throughout, but particularly on Now I'm Here and Don't Stop Me Now. My runner up is Earl's Court.
My list is something like this:
1973 - Golders Green Hippodrome
1974 - Rainbow (20-11-1974)
1975 - Tokyo (01-05-1975)
1976 - Hyde Park
1977 - Earls Court (06-06-1977)
1978 - Toronto
1979 - Hammersmith Odeon
1980 - London (08-12-1980)
1981 - Buenos Aires (28-02-1981)
1982 - Osaka
1984 - Milan (14-09-1984)
1985 - Osaka and Live Aid
1986 - Mannheim
1977 Bingley Hall Stafford England
1978 Bingley Hall Stafford England
1979 NEC Birmingham England
1980 Birmingham International Arena England
1982 Elland Road Leeds England
1984 Wembley Arena London England
1986 Wembley Stadium London England
1992 Wembley Stadium London England
Can personally only comment on the concerts i attended, although watching a DVD of a gig is entertaining, it in no way comes close to the emotion of being there in person.
