I like George too. Not because he's cute however :)
I like his voice because it has that old 'Motown' sound. Smooth and refreshing not to have some one with the Whitney Houston syndrome.
There is a lot of similarity in the finalists. Is it three or maybe four with church singing backgrounds which gives them the exact same interpretations and styles. There is talent there but will we know of any of them a year from now?......somehow I doubt it.
Every time I see this show, I never see anything that really stands out. Nothing unique. And knowing that whoever wins the competition will be the next 'artist' pushed on us from all corners of the media globe, I say that's a bad thing.
well, i like george too...both him and fantasia in my opinion are the only one's worth winning. but the way these contests go that red headed geek will probably win.
The red headed geek has a wonderful crooners voice. Too bad they don't have much for him to sing as far as thier nights go. Like Mowtown night or whathave you. However. Barry Manilow is going to be there sometime in April. One of the greatest pop icons of our time! I hope they have to do Barry songs. Then we'll find out who has talent.
LOL! Can't argue with that! He DID have the best voice that show has ever seen. The first time I saw the current red headed geek I thought it was a re-run... ~_~'
yeah....ok he prolly can sing well if he sings a certain style...but to win this competition you have to be very versitile...i think the geek is choking under the pressure...i mean you can't tell me he sung well the other night?
I'm still trying to figure out if clay aiken used to be a woman.
I couldn't believe Elton John gave them pointers.....I never knew he would be on a show like that....and the singers still sucked! Except George...nice voice but....no one special this year...
Elton wasn't there for the live performances, but he met the contestants when they chose what songs they would sing...and then they sang for him at a piano.
The show last night was rather dismal...but George was terrific!
