I'm sure some of you have seen shows during this tour. During the acustic set when they performed Dreamers Ball did Roger join the rest of the band at the front of the stage or was he still behind his kit playing and singing?
I have search back as far as I could and this doesn't seem to be an old question. If I am wrong, my appoligies to those I will surely offend. :P
There's a good quality bootleg video of Paris 79 available. It's a combination of the latter 2 of 3 nights at the Pavillion.
As for Dreamer's Ball on the Jazz tour, all four members performed it on the little stage below the main stage, and Roger played on a mini drum kit. He then used that same kit for '39, and then returned to the big kit to play It's Late through to the end of the show.
Hope this helps!
Thanks GH, I knew he was up front for 39. I have a few vid's of that song performed. But aslways wondered about Dreamers. You can hear more of a proper drum kit being played as opposed to the bass drum & tambourine. If this post doesnt comfirm that a proper dvd release of that Jazz tour need to be released i don't know what does.

Hehe...
We can only hope that the multi-cam version of Paris 79 has matching stereo audio from the soundboard. We know for sure the last two nights were filmed, so anything is possible.
I was wrong in the instruments section: '39 at Live Killers and Jazz was performed while Rog was sitting in the kit. The pic I gave Martin for that section - link - is from '39, not Dreamer's Ball as I mistakenly said. Note that Roger has a tambourine in his right hand.
From 1976 to early 1978 and in late 1979 and in the Tribute Roger did perform '39 the way we all know, as can be seen in this pics: link link link link link
