Judging by the dialect used, it seems to a UK article, so the pic could have been taken at any show from the era it was printed in. I'm sure the photographer didn't go too far to snap the photo, so it's probably from a show on the UK leg of the ANATO tour between Nov/Dec '75.
I'm afraid we can't know more than that, unless we track down the photographer. :)
Well its an impressive picture. ;)
I think I've seen him with that shirt on somewhere, if memory recalls, during the Mother Love montage in the Champions of the World video.
Nazilla, Roger and Brian, as I know of, have never posted a message on this site. I dont know if they ever visited either.
Queenzone is a fan made and owned Queen fan website. If you are interested in a Queen Productions owned website, try link
Also I dont know if they ever posted there also.
Whats the point in asking Brian or Roger. Do you think they remember what Freddie wore on a peticular date somewhere in the late 1975's?
Most people don't even know what they wore 2 days ago, let alone what a friend wore 30 years ago.
Forget it, it's useless.
But i'm pretty sure it's from the concert in the Hammersmith Odeon
Yeah, there's a great quality Hammersmith 75 video. But why is everyone so sure it's from the Hammersmith show? Photos can be taken at any concert!! He probably wore white shorts for the encore at every show back then.
Saginaw, Michigan, February 18th, 1976, with Bob Seger as the warm-up and myself in the audience for my second Queen concert (the first being Harrisburg in '74).
Seriously. Saginaw. The Mecca of the music world. Well, alright then, the pic is most likely NYC that February
