There is a distorted voice (on Sebastian's site it says it's Brian) in the beginning of One Vision that says "God works in mysterious ways" and about 15 secs later says something else, right before the guitar comes in.
If you're unsure what I'm talking about, listen to this: link
One of the members in the Israeli Queen forum said it sounded like "Ma Ze Mshane" to him, which means "What does it matter?" in Hebrew. Obviously none of the band members knew Hebrew so they didn't mean to say that, but anyone knows what is actually said?
That distorted bit is actually a compressed audiobook
of John Deacon revealing the 'meaning of life' only to be heard by the ears of the true believers.
First it's Freddie saying
'God works in mysterious ways'. Then it's Brian whispering the words 'mysterious ways' (All slowed down and distorted)
and then it's a lot of synth noises and backward vocals. But it's all english
I suggest you guys by the greatest hits II dvd because i think it might anwser your question. It shows them in the studio, writing One Vision and Freddie is at the mike and he says "God works in mysterious ways (then he pauses a few seconds and says:) And hey people! I'm waiting for those days to return once agian.
that last sentence im a bit hazy on, and i can't check to make sure right now. but that could be one clue in finding the anwser. (i have never been able to spell anwser, ever!)
stone cold crazy!, thanks for the support, but I'm not talking about that part... I said I know what the distorted voice says at start, I don't know what it says afterwards, before the guitar comes in. I attached a sample too.
