I’d say my favorite is the U.S. leg of the Game tour. My least favorite is probably the 84 leg of the Works tour seeing how most of the shows have dreadful vocals and not much musicianship (exception of Sun City, Dublin, and Brussels).
European Day at the Races tour would be my favorite ... so many favorite deep cuts
The Works European tour was also my least favorite. It was basically a greatest hits tour with a few truncated oldies. The Magic tour was also a greatest hits tour, but it at least had the acoustic covers medley at the front of the stage.
The favorites: Japan '79 (for reasons), Crazy Tour, Game Tour '80, the earlier Hot Space tours, when they were playing around with the setlists, The Works '84
The least: The Works '85, The latter part of the Hot Space Europe leg, US '78
My favorite tours are A night at the opera Japan 76,.
News of the world, Crazy Tour 1979, The Game tour Europe 1980, Japan 81 and Early European tour of 1984.
The least favorite tours are US and JapanHot Space tour
If Freddie had protected his voice the European Works Tour could have been my favourite
My permanent favorite is Japan Tour '82, every show is unique with great setlists and improvs. Least favorite might be uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh idk for real cuz every leg of every tour has something good to offer. Maybe Crazy Tour just for how few good recordings there are, though the shows are certainly great.
Anyone who doesn't like the European leg of the works tour wasn't there. It was magnificent. I don't care if a bootleg sounds shit, the shows were fabulous.
Worst for me was 1980 UK. Terrible sound in Birmingham. Now there are others on here who were there and say it sounded great, so I can only assume the NEC had variable sound in the room. My least favourite Queen show.
Favourite
A Night at the Opera tour
The Crazy Tour (The Best)
The Works Tour Birmingham Saturday night.
Worst
Hot Space Ingleston both nights. Just felt they were going through the motions.

Agreed, The early Works shows were great. Big production, loud and a setlist that spanned every album to that point.
Birmingham in 1980 was strange. It was a strange sounding venue, better now since its "re build"
In 1980 the sound on the 2nd night was better but still not great and both nights varied around the hall. It was strange that Trip elected to position the mixing desk to the right of the floor rather than the middle, and further forward then usual. Overall the sound lacked volume and mid range punch.
Threads like this are always interesting - you can clearly see who is basing their answers on shitty sounding bootleg tapes vs. who was actually there.
Listen to the latter group.
Did we listen to the same Ingliston shows? Definitely not what I would call "going through the motions"
Check out the next leg of the tour for anything like that.
