Extended version of In Charge Of My Heart would have never been an album version in my opinion. I do really like it but have opted for Liar. I still like to sing along with that one.
The so called extended version of In Change Of My Heart surely isn't extended though? It's the full unedited version - the shorter version is just a bad edit with the long intro removed, that doesn't work that well. Great song that should have been on the album.

That's why I excluded it. The same applies to Manipulator
Matter of opinion. 80s extended versions aren't all structured the same and you can say about a lot of them that the single versions have been edited from the extended versions if you want to.
In my opinion it should have been included.

Just no. An extended mix is a remix, and usually for no other reason than it being an 80s/90s fad. In Change Of My Heart isn't an extended mix, and I would suggest it was just mis-titled at the time. It is the full original mix, and was also edited so it could fit on the 7" release. There's a reason that only the so called extended version was released on CD, and they didn't feel a need to include the crudely edited version.
