FBG is from the 27th and thus unheard until now (except for who was there that night of course!) Both this FBG and Sheer Heart attack as released on the remasters in 2011 is brilliant stuff. Out of the 3 Paris nights at least 1 mindblowing full concert should be possible! But please QPL: ALSO give us Hammersmith Odeon 26/12/79! Complete Live Killers tour concert and a complete Crazy our concert would be so cool (and more would be even better!) |

Aside from another tour 2019 can be surprising or dissapointment. We have to wait. I don't care about the tour. I want a live boxset. |
Golden Salmon 19.10.2018 14:16 |
^What if they use a 1979 theme as their basis for the 2019 tour to promote a live box set release? If they're never going to make a studio box set, at least give us the good live stuff. There must be so much they can include, and I'm only talking about Live Killers era. |

Realistically i would think that any tour in 2019 would be in countries not covered this year, thus same stage set up and set list. Maybe a bit costly to redesign another rig so soon, although replica 'pizza oven' sounds great... I will be more than happy with Live Killers box set done really well |

However I still don't understand why Queen has never followed the example of The Who or Pearl Jam and come up with a bunch of official bootlegs that cover all gigs from several tours. For The Who and Pearl jam it worked perfectly, the official bootlegs by these band sold by the millions. The interest among a lot of Queen fans would even be greater I suppose. |

Queen DID jump into the "official bootlegs" bandwagon back in 2004 but they messed it up ROYALLY, like only Queen Production can (at times). I give to you, Queen's officially-released "Top 100 Bootlegs": link Only 32 were released and they were digital downloads of existing bootlegs in their original bootleg quality, often not even the best sources available. You could literally download the same shows in BETTER quality off of Queenzone and torrent sites. Embarrasing. |

I doubt we'll see Live Killers reissued, the mix is completely underwhelming and the band hate it. More Likely we'll get live in Paris and a DVD of the footage. It'll be called Live Killers in Paris as a nod to the original release or something like that. Toyko 79 exists in full with multiple camera footage but Freddie's voice was in terrible shape so I doubt we'll see that released. Hammy 79 maybe if they've found the multi-tracks? |

It's got be good in every way as 1979 was probably the best live year Queen ever did - the band were in their peak (especially Freddie) and they had great setlists. It's got to be representative of their shows in the period. |
