Does anyone else own an old transfer of the entire Argentina 1981 show without the QTV watermark? I came across to this YouTube video uploaded about six years ago, and this person uploaded the entire show, but the quality is rubbish. Correct me if I'm wrong but is this the only non-QTV version that exist, or is there another one out there, but with a better quality? link
There is snowproduction version which dont have qtv logo but i dont know where to get it.
Is there someone who have it? or if you want best quality version than check chief mouse restoration
I already have Chief Mouse's restoration (really amazing work), but I don't have Snow's version yet. However, doesn't Snow's DVD come from a QTV broadcast as well, and cropped down to 16:9?
Kurgan's version is indeed the best quality copy without the logo. There are versions which have much better video quality, but have the QTV logo. I tried to match the 2 sources, but I gave up, since it had to be done shot by shot

No, this version is the original Canel 9 broadcast (with the video ‘restored’ and logo removed) and some bonus footage.

Pretty sure it's still from a QTV broadcast with the logos removed leaving blurry splodges on parts of the screen. The QTV versions are are in turn from the canal 9 broadcast, earlier versions simply didn't have the QTV logo. According to this quote from queenlive.ca the complete concert was re aired by Canal 9 (from a safety copy) in 2009, it's rather strange THAT version has never surfaced.
The complete concert was filmed and later broadcast on TV (Canal 9). The original broadcast was seen by about 35 million people, and included clips of the gear being loaded in and the stage being assembled, as well as commentary between songs by Juan Alberto Badía. A copy of this video has since been shown at fan conventions, and clips have been seen in many documentaries. An hour-long version of the video from the TV station's master copy is circulating amongst collectors.
Get Down Make Love was omitted from a later broadcast in 1991, likely due to government censorship. It was deleted from the master tapes, but a safety copy was eventually located by Canal 9 in the early 2000s. They aired a special on the Argentina 1981 shows on November 10, 2002, which included much of the first half of this show, and the complete concert was eventually aired by the network in 2009.
This info has now been supplied by Wilki Amieva via another thread on 08 April 18.

- The show wasn't re-broadcasted in 1991, as Canal 9 didn't have the rights anymore. It was re-broadcasted only in 1981.
- Get Down, Make Love was omitted 100% because of censorship. The song was blacklisted and it was even omitted from the 1981 reissue of News Of The World. It wasn't deleted from the master tapes, though.
- The complete concert wasn't aired by Canal 9 in 2009, as they don't have the full masters.
