Hmm... not sure about these. Even if they had been done better (the vocal / music sync is all over the place), I don't really like the idea of replacing Freddie with Adam on existing studio material. It kind of goes against the grain. I'm not an Adam hater, as I'm pleased they had the opportunity to tour and play the songs live again, but his voice does take some getting used to.
The vocals either need dumbing down a bit or the music needs increasing.
It DOES sound like someone has taken the IEM feed from a live gig and imposed it over the top of the backing track with no finesse whatsoever.
(which of course, IS what they've done!)
Jeff Scott Soto did a similar thing about 17 years ago with some of the tracks on Greatest Karaoke Hits, but of course he mixed his properly and they sound fine!
