Hey everybody,
I was about to post this message in the request forum but I think this should be interesting for anyone...
I'm trying to gather ANY band's message sent to their fans (at the fan club conventions for example).
Can anybody help me?
So far I have:
- 1975 message to Japanese fans in Music Life's Flexi Disc.
- 1986 fan club convention: link
- 1987 fan club convention: link + link
- 1989 fan club convention, shared by Inu-Liger(?) -- longer version here: link --
- 1990 fan club: link
-1991 fan club: link + link
- 1994 fan club convention: link
- 1995: link
As you can see most of these tracks (both audio and video) come from YouTube. So please post a non-youtube link or a better source, thanks. And please help me to complete this kind of compilation.
Cheers.
P.S Mr John Deacon has no messages for any of you ,however he still gets his cheque each month, please do not try and find me as I am in hiding and iam very depressed with my 50 million pounds in the bank.

Thanks! I had the Inu-Liger share but your link features a longer version.
Because the same thing plays back again...
Yeah, I have just listened to it and the second time it cuts out early, plus it's in worse quality than inu liger share. Are these the only messages from Queen to fans? Or did I miss something?

Message from Queen to fans. Please keep buying the same stuff until your pockets are empty much love Dr Brian May and Mr Roger Taylor.
How much have you spent on Queen relative to what you have got back from the group ? What's your average cost per song per listen on all formats you have bought?
And this convention messages from Bri and Rog, 2016? link link link
Also open this if you feel that there's something that you haven't listed already and check it: link
What always amazed me is that the band never appeared at any of the conventions especially after '86, as they were longer touring could they not have played a short set at the very least for their loyal fanbase , rather than sending boring messages
The fan club convention in 1978 in London had a message sent over from the States (where they were touring Jazz). The convention was hosted by UK DJ Alan Freeman.
Although I was there it is 38 years ago and I can't remember if it was an audio recording or if it was read out.
