Let's hope 2016 will be the year of common sense for Singapore."
Funniest thing I've read all year!
Well, despite being an economic hub of global standard, Singapore still demonstrates many shortcomings in terms of civil rights and freedoms. Being gay is still illegal, for instance, although I believe they turn a blind eye to what goes on in people's bedrooms.
So this is to be expected.

Edit: Adam Lambert had performed 3 times in Singapore in the last 5 years. Only the second one attracted controversy because the organisers had used a theatre owned by a church for the event. That event went ahead after it was rated for 16 years and above due to protests from the church members.

Are you sure its because he is gay and not because he is a massive cunt?
Dare I ask.....why exactly is Adam "a massive cunt"? In every interview of him I've seen or read, he comes across as a pretty nice guy.
On the rare occasions I have been able to stand watching him for more than half a nano second I form the opinion he is a massive cunt. There is no science or psychology involved, its just what I think.

Well uh yeah, that makes sense, because, uh............wait a minute here.....
"I do see where they are coming from. He's gay. He'll do gay things..." Well is he 'gay' as an adjective or 'a gay' a noun? Can't really entertain a crowd well without being somewhat gay.

makes you wonder.........would the protest still have been going,if it was freddie singing..
I don't think so. My understanding of him is that being gay is a way of life for him and not something that he wants to show off. He would not make it so obvious that he creates controversy.
