Talk about polishing a turd. Both of these tapes sound terrible. I did my best to make the muddy sounding source a bit clearer. It still sounds awful but at least its a better kind of awful. I couldn't do much of anything with the other tape. Anything done to make the music louder would have amplified the screaming girls well beyond the point of clipping. Aside from a few seconds of You're My Best Friend that both tapers managed to miss, this is musically complete. There are still a few cuts between the encores. link

Not going to download this cause I've done something like that some years ago, but I'd like to ask you if you have any plans for doing similar projects in the future.

I have no plans of stopping. I want to do an audience only mix of 1979/04/25. The Wardour source for that show opens up really nicely when you apply some treble. IMO the quality definitely goes from a B to a B+. I just finished a remaster of 1982/10/19 that I've been tinkering at for a few months. I also finished a remaster of Berlin '78, as that tape had ear-piercingly high levels of treble. I've got something else I wanna do but I don't wanna say until I have the materials to do it.
