When watching concerts, I noticed people would throw things on stage and he would pick them up and throw them back. I mean some of it I know he wouldn't want to keep (stinky shirt) but I think there was some flowers thrown on stage and then he threw them back into the audience.
If you're talking about the Rainbow concert, those flowers were actually given to Freddie by the stage crew so Freddie could then throw them into the audience - they were doing this every night, as far as I'm aware, at this point in their touring life.
And also to, you kinda dont want to give everyone a reason to throw things on stage... live at the bowl.. Freddie wore a couple of hats thrown on stage but if got to the point where lots of stuff were thrown on stage

Not only that - but it was someone's job to remove every thorn in those roses.
Fun story here: link
Fred was still doing the roses thing at Liverpool empire in June "77 and at the same concert, he donned a thrown hat for an instance, a young miss also got on the stage at this show................and she was thrown back.
I remember watching one concert where he forgot himself and threw his own jacket to the audience. I can't remember which concert it was. That is why the audience always "scream" in anticipation whenever he takes off his jacket on stage.
Was it the show in Paris where the crowd almost pulled Freddie in like a fish when they got hold of his mic wire. . Same show when he was winding up the crowd during the intro to dreamers ball someone chucked something on stage, Freddie and Brian were like shit what was that. .? Freddie very quickly toned it down a little

Do you remember which night, June 2 or 3?
Love these anecdotes.
Freddie hated the stage littered with objects and as he and Brian were running all over the stage freddie was thinking of safety
and avoiding trips or falls.
Brian slipped on an egg years ago!
Fried, hard/soft-boiled, poached?
Duck, chicken, ostrich, duck, quail?
Must have been a quail as an ostrich one would be easy to spot.
Or, could've been a Jenny Wren. that's a tiny egg.

Geez. Why not?
He was a rockstar. That's what rockstars do...

It was an internal game between Freddie and Roger Waters. Freddie would throw things and Roger, spit on the fans. :)
Hehe, the spitting incident.
Have you heard the Montreal 1977 bootleg? Best version of Pigs ever. Roger his comments towards the audience member are just brilliant. Also, I love how the music builds up to the climax. link

Hell yeah! I do love the entire In the Flesh tour! Have almost 100% of the concerts! :)
This Pigs is freakin' awesome, it looks like Nick, Rick and Gilmour are playing like if they're playing heavy metal, it just sounds so powerful. :P
