GERRYISADICK 02.12.2014 21:19 |
Bought the doue CD to complete my collection and got LMIYHA and love kills digitally |
Mr.Mouth 02.12.2014 22:09 |
In the name of the rip off mix I kicked some asses like a pirate. I rest my case.. :) |
Ale Solan 02.12.2014 23:28 |
Yeah, I bought it, here it is: link |
matt z 03.12.2014 00:37 |
Since its not released on vinyl yet (aside from very gracious bidders on auction) why are there two selection options for album and cd album when they both mean the same thing? FTR: I've played love kills and lmiyha in a pub Paid a dollar each song. However have bought no physical copy of either. Where do I vote? |
ITSM 03.12.2014 02:44 |
No, I didn't buy it, but I listen to Let Me In Your Heart Again on Spotify. |
Heavenite 03.12.2014 02:48 |
I bought it for a friend. Will be getting another copy as well for me. They put just enough of the good stuff on there, which wasn't much, to get me in. Just hope the next one is more like MIH2 than QF2! |
YourValentine 03.12.2014 02:53 |
I did not buy it. I listened to the radio broadcast of the "new" tracks and passed. |
pittrek 03.12.2014 03:38 |
YourValentine wrote: I did not buy it. I listened to the radio broadcast of the "new" tracks and passed.Me too. If the 3 songs will be released as singles or something like that, I'll buy them, but I'm not buying compilations anymore |
brians wig 03.12.2014 03:44 |
I bought it but only because it's (so far) the only way of having the three new tracks on a physical format. I hate digital downloads for officially released stuff. Your Valentine: Shame on You. "Let Me In" is a great track and worth the price of the album alone (especially when the deluxe edition costs you £8) Just waiting for the LP release now. No idea what the hold up is. Let's face it, only vinyl collectors will want the LP, so there's no financial benefit to QPL in holding it back until everyone has bought the CD. |
ITSM 03.12.2014 04:06 |
I'm not sure which "signals" it sends to Queen Production if Forever doesn't sell many copies - if they stop releasing new song(s), or maybe they understand that we want (TO BUY) Made in Heaven 2...? |

brians wig wrote: Your Valentine: Shame on You. "Let Me In" is a great track and worth the price of the album alone (especially when the deluxe edition costs you £8)Disagree. I can totally see why it wasn't released in the first place - I think it's a tedious song, filler at best. I'm not going to buy a cd I'm never going to play, especially not for a downright bad remix (and is "Love Kills - The Ballad" really anything more than that?) and a mediocre new song. |
ili 03.12.2014 04:58 |
I had stopped buyig compilations after GH3; but I made an exception for this one due to the 3 new songs, and bought the single-cd album. |
GERRYISADICK 03.12.2014 05:02 |
Wow you guys are whiny bitches you moaned about thjs song for years and when you get if you say oh its not good. Shut the fuck up you whiny hypocrites and buy the fucking album |
thomasquinn 32989 03.12.2014 05:59 |
You can foul-mouth all you want, nobody has ever been moaning about "Let Me In Your Heart Again". It's a third-rate choice, and everybody here knows it. Expecting people to buy an album for a single mediocre song is lunacy. |
tomchristie22 03.12.2014 06:01 |
It's only thomasquinn here who's expressing dislike for it, and I doubt he 'moaned about it for years'. |
MrFunster 03.12.2014 06:39 |
NO I don't buy crappy compilations by this topband, although it has one great new song and two reworked songs. For the new project I am hoping for some new reworked studio material with Freddie. I have the feeling this is going to happen. Trust is good, 100% confirmation is better. |

I'd buy both versions on CD and saw some nice promo singles of LMIYHA on eBay... but with 250 Dollar very expensive in my eyes. I think we will see more and more unreleased material, but in which format or project is the question. I don't belive another compilation will work. In my opinion another compilation in style of Queen Rocks would have work better than the current Queen Forever compilations. Full of ballads and after all a very hard rock song at the end, like NOBY was on Queen Rocks. The next project can't be really another hits compilation with some new tracks... so I'm looking very forward to the next releases. |

I digitally downloaded "Let me in your heart again" also i did order the new album but cancelled as i believe it was a pointless release for us fans who already have all the other tracks on the albums. i do not buy everything that now gets released as i believe Queen productions are getting very lazy as to what they put out. |

Haven't bought it ....but bought best of roger taylor in both formats! |
eYe 03.12.2014 12:34 |
I bought the first two "new" songs (mp3), downloaded the whole 2cd (flac) and deleted track 3 immediatley. This way i payed for the "new" stuff but didn't spend anything on pedo MJ. |

I only buy Queen 7 inch singles in NM/NM condition. (1973-Made In Heaven era) Other than that, my passion for buying and collecting Queen items is long gone. Sold most of it too. I think "Let Me In Your Heart Again" is a great track. But I don't feel the need to pay for it. |

LMIYHA is a mediocre song ? Really ? When compared to today's music and "babes" autotuned to hell then it's a great ballad and Freddie's vocal delivery is stunning as always. Although when you compare this song to let's say, Innuendo, well, that's another story. |

I bought the Deluxe CD, but I mostly listen to it via Spotify and Rdio.com. I also played a lot Orbit's remix of LMIYHA on Youtube before it was available in sound streaming services. I quite like Orbit's work on LMIYHA. Does anybody know where the did he get the isolated backing vocals from? I mean those BVs at the last minutes of his mix (edit: 4min40s). Before the synth vocals there are some that sound human. Are those by Queen? Cheers, Ogre- |
MercurialFreddie 04.12.2014 06:06 |
I also bought the Deluxe CD, after hearing these new tracks, esp. LMIYHA I just wanted to hear them uncompressed in the best possible quality. A pity that terrible fate met TMBMTLTT. It is really a standout ballad from Mr Bad Guy and my favourite Freddie solo tune (along with the title track) which I listen from time to time. In my opinion, Freddie believed that it was worth working on - when you consider how many attempts and forms this track had. It was worked on during !! 5 !! recording sessions (it is really curious bearing in mind Brian's recent quote that Freddie tossed things off). I was really looking forward to it and it's a shame that the track was treated that way. Why didn't they reworked his solo version. Does Jackson estate hold exclusive rights to the 1981 duet tapes ? |
br5946 04.12.2014 06:27 |
^ MercurialFreddie, it wouldn't surprise me if they did own those rights. After all, they can throw their big-arse weight around and demand Freddie's good vocals are muffled to insanity to balance out Jackson's piss-poor ones. Also, $$$! |

Pingfah 04.12.2014 08:14 |
I didn't want to spend my own money on yet another compilation, after all I did not bother with Deep Cuts or Absolute Greatest. But I do think LMIYHA is a wonderful track, so I asked for it for Christmas off me mum. |

Also, $$$!Of course the Michael Jackson estate owns the rights to his vocals, and QP has to ask for the permission to use them. That goes without saying. No-one is forcing QP to use Michael's vocals, but obviously they wanted to make a few more sales by doing so. The final product naturally has to be approved by the Michael Jackson estate, but again no one forced QP to use THIS version of the song. According to Roger's recent interview (which is the best source we have!) they presented only two (2) alternatives for the MJ estate to choose from. |

I just bought it now after weeks of deliberating. That Jackson track actually has the best guitar on it of the "new" tracks. On the upside of this one thing that frustrates me is the general publics lack of knowledge of how good and diverse some of the Queen album tracks are. So putting out a compilation including Long Away and Drowse and Lily of the Valley is actually pretty cool. If some casual buyers buy this and get into the real Queen albums as a result its a good thing. |
LucasDiego 06.12.2014 19:59 |
I bought the 2cd album, listened one time, and ok, next time to listen all, i don't know, but LMIYHA i listen every day perhaps. |
matt z 07.12.2014 20:12 |
At first I had considered buying it. But then the new releases were leaked. Since they were two sub-par mixes with one unreleased track I decided against it. However, i was recently accosted by a blundering man who spouted a slew of insults before bludgeoning me with a small Polynesian man who happened to be walking by. He insisted I buy the album and that I was a "wank faced wooly haired nonce scum sucking Scottish field mouse fucking sack of pestulant rancid ass crums" and that I MUST indeed purchase the album. So I'm beginning to consider it. But either way, Gerry did the right thing. I'm guessing He felt it was a misrepresented item and felt his best way of being outspoken about it was to deny Qpl the $13-20 it cost. Nothing wrong with that |
The Younger Rocker 08.12.2014 00:03 |
Yes, i buy it, my collection is of 4 or 5 albums, and, *hhmm* Are three new songs :3 |
