Band : Queen Venue : Wembley Stadium, London, UK Date : 11.7.1986 Video source : PAL PRO master > ? > NTSC DVD > conversion to PAL > Handbrake > AVC Audio source 1 : AUD > low generation copy > "Wembley Stadium 1986" (Wardour) silvers > WAV > Cool Edit Pro (speed correction, upsampling to 48kHz) > AC3 Audio source 2 : SBD master > ? > NTSC DVD > WAV (used only for filling the gaps in the audience source)
This is a sligthly "controversial" upload, because the first Wembley concert was released
on official DVD in 2011, but it was edited, converted to NTSC and overdubbed. I don't know if I can leave it here or if it gets deleted, but I'd like to note that this is DIFFERENT from the official DVD, even though the official DVD was used as one of the sources for this mkv file.
I usually like my concerts "as complete as possible" and without overdubs, if possible. That's why I created a private little DVD, originally just for myself and a couple of fellow
Queen collectors. As the first step I have converted the NTSC DVD to PAL (as I said before, this was supposed to be a PRIVATE DVD and I'm a PAL guy). Then I've taken the "Wembley Stadium 1986" Wardour bootleg, ripped it to WAV, and fixed the speed so it matched the speed of the video.
While syncing the bootleg audio to video I noticed that the DVD is cut. I have ignored MOST of the cuts (e.g. the gaps between the encores), but there was one big cut during Brian's solo - he has done a pretty bad mistake at the end, so he repeated the ending. Instead of fixing his mistake they simply deleted the first "attempt". I didn't want to cut it out so I used a static picture during the missing footage - a scan of a ticket from the show, which I ... ehm "borrowed" from link (I hope Martin won't mind if he sees this).
I (or "we") have an alternate source for God Save The Queen - DoRo filmed the guys leaving
the stage and the stadium, while the official DVD shows us footage of the audience. I didn't want to choose WHAT should we see, so I have decided to use BOTH versions
- you will see a splitscreen version of God Save The Queen - just to have something DIFFERENT to the official DVD.
For obvious reasons I have decided NOT to share my DVD, but I ripped it to mkv and I'm sharing the mkv here, I hope you enjoy it. !!! PLEASE SUPPORT THE OFFICIAL RELEASES AND BUY THE 2011 DVD SET !!!
Again - this concert was officially released in 2011 on DVD, please buy it if you don't have it yet. This is just an "alternative" version. Chapters :

I would really prefer if this wouldn't get outside Queenzone but I realize there's no way how I could prevent it.
If there will be enough "public interest" I'll share also the second night, which is a combination of the 2011 DVD and the 1990(?) VHS and again the DoRo footage, and is synced to both the audience recording and the radio broadcast
Thanks Pittrek, looking forward to seeing the result :)
Also, I think that if one already owns the DVD, then making/downloading a fan-edit is perfectly fine... (At least that's the case with the Star Wars movies)
Thank you very much! I have this on the dvd, vhs, 2CD's ("fat edition" and japenese vinyl mini CD) and home recorded video, so I don't mind to have another one (alternative) version. THANKS!
PS seed anyone? Got only 7%..........
