Not as bad as I expected. Looks circus-y
Would've looked better monochromatic. Drums look cluttered but hey. At least it showcases some element of LIVE action.
Good to see John Deacon again.
In case people have forgotten (or prefer to forget), it's not great, but still way better than that good old 'Return of the Champions' front and back link
featuring a crowd, Paul Rodgers, the back of some guitarist, and the invisible man on drums.
Not bad for a cinema poster. And I don't think they are going to re-release it once again, but then who knows... Maybe it's supposed to become another over re-re-re-re-re-re-released Wembley.

Are you saying you can't see how awful it looks? The floor reflection of Freddie? The cheap lens flares? The conflicting colours? The patchy layout? And why the hell is the title right behind Freddies arse? I could go on and on...

I always loved the cover of ROTC but pretty much hate the back...

The front cover photo itself is quite impressive. The red 'Return of the Champions' text that looks like it was made with 'Word Art' isn't quite as much so.
I think the return of the champions was strategically set to meet the following Tour. The cover photo isn't bad as it focuses on a live element.
That said. I bought the ROTC álbum for $4 at amoeba....it had the barcode scratched out because it was a superfluous item.
I was curious.
It wasn't bad. Might have been a great tour. I now regret miSsing the QPR TOUR.
Ah well.
But yes. Ditto ditto conflicting colours, convoluted picture. A focus distracted. A bizarre choice to have those conflicting elements. If they had FAKED a stage element and done it monochromatic they could have focused on all four without looking like a lazy art students "night before a test" homework
It's not horrible. FREDDIE looks great. John looks great. Mmmm... leave it to the critics to suggest it has something to do with the recent legacy
