I don't know if this is common knowledge that I just missed out on along the way, but I found out last night that Roger is on the 'artist advisory board' (along with Roger Daltrey and Steven Tyler) of a business found at link
Interestingly they have video sections for each artist where there are three section of videos that can be uploaded; 'official', 'fan videos' and 'YouTube'. If you search for Roger as an artist, one of the 'OFFICIAL' videos is a full live performance of Heaven For Everyone from The Cross, from the Geneva concert in April 1990. As this is uploaded as official, can anyone comment if this seems to be a 'master'/first generation copy with better picture and sound than we currently have? (I'm only viewing on my iPhone so far but it initially seems better than the torrent of that gig I uploaded here a few years ago). The picture seems a lot sharper with minimal colour bleed and shadowing, and the sound, whilst not a multitrack remix, seems a lot clearer and has more bottom end and a better balance.
Here it is: link
Any thoughts?
Outside of the song and performance being great I think it is fascinating that Roger grew his hair quite long again which he had not done in a decade and a half at that point I don't think! It was really cool looking! Interesting!
Amazing when you look at some of the shite on these boards that have page after page of comment, yet this (which I think is quite interesting) gets next to nothing!!
