Ok the lots problems has taken us away from the actually release of fun on earth. So let's start a topic on the actually album.
Personally I think it's low for a album, half the tracks we already know, the rest are chill out sounds with not much lyrics and few tracks have any actual drums on them, considering rogers a drummer in a rock and roll band.
I'd give the album 5/10. Maybe it will grow on me.
For God's sake give it a chance, too many people on here are far too quick too judge! I must admit on first listen I had exactly the same idea. Now I have listened to the album 4 or 5 times though, I've found Fun On Earth to be a real grower. There are still a couple of tracks that I'm still not over keen on (I Don't Care being 1) but overall a good album. So many 'Fans' are still judging everything against Fun In Space and Strange Frontier.....DON'T. Don't even judge it against Happiness or Electric Fire. It's such a different album. A very personal album I feel. I think it's a reflection on where Roger is at now in HIS life. Ok it's definitely isn't his strongest album in my opinion, but still a great effort and still miles better than the dross on offer these days!
