Hi there! Team of RT said on the FB. "Fun talks today discussing all kinds of music and stuff coming your way in the not too distant future...." All well and good. Finally something new. But certainly we do not get fantastic concerts such as Rainbow, Hyde Park, Earles Court, Houston. I do not know why not issue at least one thing for the fans of this period. I know that I will not get a reply from Roger or from from someone else from Queen production. I think these albums will not be published for fear of poor sales. But I would buy such an album and I now that many others would to. The big question therefore remains why we are not getting a clear answer of the issue of one of those albums. Are they afraid of too poor sales, lack of materials, or the publishing house is guilty... ? So we get a new album from Roger, but or is it really an album with completely new material? Then we'll probably get a live album by Queen + Adam Lambert. And around the new year a new compilation, ballads or something stupid!I know that on this page is someone who knows why old things are not in stores. We need therefore only a clear answer. I wish the band all the best! Greetings! P.S. Old things we get when hell freezes! |

So what was the clear answer? I didn't see anything clear, definite, or undeniable in the message you quoted. |

Hello! I'm afraid you did not understand me! I'd like to see a clear answer why there is not released even one live album from the early period of the group. The group QUEEN does not begin with the album Live Killers. Members of the band say that they are so proud of their origins, but they did not do absolutely nothing for those beginnings (no live album). We receive a high commercial compilations and various nonsense as the Wembly, which was released a thousand times. Wembly, Budapest, it's all exactly the same and it is insane! We are just talking about Hammersmith and Rainbow. But, there is nothing going on! I have no idea what kind of things can we get in the coming months. We will probably get a compilation or live album with Lambartom (by the experience). It seems to me that Roger and Brian desperately wish success in America. So we will continue to be able to buy in stores just nonsense. This above is just my opinion. I'm just a loyal fan of the group, which unfortunately is becoming less and less loyal! If anyone is in the mood to write something for this topic, do it! Greetings! I would like is someone to give a clear answer to why the store as we do not see Hyde Park 76 |

My English is pretty bad. I would just like an answer why we do not get the Hyde Park 76! Probably nobody understood what the last sentence means! Sorry! But I know that there will be no answer! |

It's pretty obvious why they haven't released anything from before 79 isn't it? You want Rainbow but how many songs from Rainbow will the average consumer know? 2/3 if that? Only the fanatics will buy it...because even a lot of the fans who know of them songs may have already downloaded the gig. Since 2008 the band has also not expressed an interested in releasing anything that can't be released as blu-ray, as it's a new market for them. Rainbow would be pointless to release on blu-ray. I agree it would be nice to have some earlier releases but i understand why the band hasn't done it yet, it just would not be financially worth it for them. I believe a Live Box set featuring unreleased shows from different eras would be the best way to go, as it covers every aspect (apart from the blu-ray problem) |

It will be great even with the release of Hammersmith '79 for me |

I would be happy if they just followed the 2003 release formula the Led Zed DVD. That is one of the best layouts I have ever seen in live release. They covered all the bases & left everyone in the dust. Queen could do that & shut everyone up (for a week or so, HA). |

Only the fanatics will buy it...because even a lot of the fans who know of them songs may have already downloaded the gig. Is it so important then that the average consumer doesn't know a song from the Rainbow Shows? So a live album can only be sold if there are well know songs on them? There is no sole reason for releasing a live album, maybe due public demand. But a live album is what it is: a live album. Remember there are two live albums released with Paul Rodgers, you'd think that the average consumer was interested in both albums? I was, but does that make me an average consumer? Queen stopped in 1991, so I gather it is pointless to speculate if a live album from the Rainbow shows, or for that matter the Hammy will be released........ |

I remember Crystal ass Pepsi! Lol! No offense to them of course...I think I liked it. I think that was circa 1989 perhaps? ...oh and far as the recording group Queen...in terms of what concerts should get official releases in the near future...there need to be shows that they have that are just audio recordings that are not related to anything filmed. I would bet that there should be tons of those...RIGHT?! |
