Hi, there! I don't remember when we've heard last time about Rainbow. What happened with Rainbow project? Why there is not any news about it? |
rocknrolllover 12.07.2013 04:14 |
I think we will see live at the Rainbow next year. 2014 year the 40th Anniversary of Sheer Heart Attack&Queen II albums. And I think they will finished works on Rainbow project to the anniversary date. |

I was at this years Queen convention in UK. Greg told a bit about the Rainbow work. I write some info on my web page: link All tree shows has been recorded on multiu track tapes. That means perfect recordings. Both nov gig was filmed. Read a bit more in my web page. |

But I did see Greg mention that there would be a compilation of both nights on DVD; he never said that the two Nov shows were going to be released separately. Did he really mention it at the convention? Anyway, I would be more than happy if it were released later this year with accompanying CD's! |

Correct, if a DVD will be released, it will probably be a edit from both the Nov gigs. If I understood Greg correct, hopefully there will be a Christmas release if some form, but Queen Production have the final word on everything. I just HOPE to see a cd of the full show on March 31st, and DVD & Cd from Nov gigs. I can't see they released the Nov gigs in full. If anything is released, I guess it will be a edit from both night. And that will be ok. The final decision will be Queen Productions choice. A bootleg box set has just be released this June link |

Agree, spring next year sounds like the best time for Rainbow. 40 years celebration. And then Hammersmith 75 for Christmas 2015. Hyde Park in September 2016, and Earls Court in 2017, Hammermith 79 in 2019....... well, who knows?.... |

We have absolutely NO reason to believe that Rainbow or Hammersmith Oden or whatever video from the 70s will EVER be released. And we have absolutely NO reason to start a new thread about it every fucking week ! |
