what does Starker's birthday cake say?
is it 150th like 150 years old like Freddie's joke about Starker getting old?
And at the bottom is it S???eta ?
Like some kind of typical female name Freddie used to gine to his friends?
Haven't STUDIED Freddies name games completely but from what I understand he named people usually after celebrities whose last names rhymed with their own.
The cake appears to say SYRIETA (sirr-ee-eh-ta)
That's about all I can say.
I looked up the name via Google in various misstypings. Streets BAKER, AKERS etc. Anything that would rhyme but alas no luck.
Send it to "phoebe" freestone
Matt Z, I never knew that about the rhyming thing. But that is a thing us English people do a lot. It started of as Cockney Rhyming slang, Cockney being a term for someone from London. But now everybody uses it, for everyday things, even names, but they are usually first names. There is usually two words for it, but this then gets shortened to just the first word.
My name is Paul, so people call me Bouncing (Bouncing Ball), in fact none of my mates call me. I have a mate called Christmas (Eve), Steve. When we go upstairs, we go up the 'apples' (apples and pears). A road is a 'frog (Frog and Toad). The Sun is a Currant (Currant bun). But my favourite would be for fingers, which is 'Bell Ringers', or hands 'Elastic bands'.
Brian May would be called 'Cast', short for Cast Iron.
Some people think us English are mad, I don't know why?

Syreeta was a black soul singer on the Motown label who bears a passing similarity to Peter. I dare say it was a private joke!
No similarity to My eyes. Syreeta was Stevie wonder's first wife. Also co writer for many of his early solo songs. WHERE I'M COMING FROM, and MUSIC OF MY MIND.
She died a few years ago from cancer. She became a devout Muslim.
Epic song: Cause We've ended now as lovers
Anyways, just giving respect. What's your source on this alleged relation to this nickname?
I'm sure John's nickname was Belisha, as in Belisha beacon, because Freddie couldn't think of anyone famous with a surname like Deacon, and this was the next best thing.
