It is defiantly from the same source tape, but it does sound cleaner, so it might be from the master or a gen or two closer than the previously released Denmark News. I don't think the improvement was done with software, could be wrong though....

That's my assumption. If the amount of tape hiss increases with the EQ changes, that's your first clue that it's very likely not a cleaner source tape.
