Now it's confirmed.
It seems that the budapest gig will be released on cinemas in september of this year. According to the article it says that there will be extra footage never seen before. I hope that this time they release the whole concert and not edited as it was before.

I think it was generally agreed upon in the other topics that there is no mention of any new concert footage on this press release.
They only mention additional documentary footage from 1985 to 1986, and I for one can't see how that could enhance the actual film in any way.
A Queen concert on a 50 ft wide screen? Its as if im attending the real thing! But i highly doubt it will be shown in a lot theaters. Probably zero showings in the US. Why do we always get left out? :(

Be glad that you don't live in Slovakia - we get left out of even more things :-)

THROUGH THE YEAR IN 25 MINUTES!
sounds good, lots of footage before they get there, must be the 25 mintues new stuff
right after live aid and covering the whole year in 25 minutes
THEN THE CONCERT ITSELF.
"following the band from just after their legendary performance at Live Aid at Wembley in the United Kingdom, through the year leading up to the concert in Budapest"

I'm envisioning One Vision studio footage + that fast-forward stage construction clip + Queen arriving by boat and the rest of the non-concert footage from the VHS tape.
i hope it is not what you are saying Rubbersuit. otherwise it's gonna be another disapointment. I'll be happy if they correct the speed and add the songs missing in the old release of 1987
I contacted the More2screen marketing folk and they gave me this kind reply;
"Many thanks for your email, we’re delighted to know you’re interested in the Queen concert movie. As the distributor we are selling into cinemas now and hope to be able start listing venues on link in the next few weeks. This will be the best place to find out news first as we build towards the event release date of 20 September."
So... a little illumination!
