Why bother with a digital transfer of the original album, when there's nothing wrong with the official CD issue?
Nice thread there Kevin, here is my list:
1. Is It Me?
2. Strange Frontier - extended version
3. Racing In The Streets - Roger doin' an amazing job here!
4. Where Are You Now
5. My Country - Part I & II
6. Revelations
7. Freedom Train
8. Touch The Sky
9. It's An Illusion
10. Magic Is Loose
(Basically everything what's on Happiness?, Freedom Train kicks ass big time!)
Tom
And of course there is so much more of good ol' Rog which I enjoy more than much, although I'm not a big fan of The Whisperers.

Yeah tom hes great, to many good tunes to really list, I like the whisperers and Touch the Sky love the intros. Can get you outts my head a rare track i love also. He should have released Roger Box Set when it was posted, But i heard roger does like looking into his back catalogue. Lol Keep on riding your freddom train mate.
Hey Kevin,
of course Roger should release a box set crammed full with rarities and extended versions, B sides as well. When he did released his solo albums for the first time on CD the time and oppertunity was there. I never did understand why he never made those re-releases interesting. But I guess it is the same way as with the Hot Space re-release were Roger had his veto for not releasing the extended versions of Staying Power et cetera...........

LOL. Try writing clearly what the fuck you are going on about then. Strange Frontier as you know is a song aswell as an album title, and you didn't refer to an extended or 12" version. Christ.
Good for you. It wasn't clear, you just assumed correctly what he was going on about. And the extended 12" mix has been available on bootlegs CDs for years and years anyway.
Correct, the 12 inch version of Strange Frontier is for years and years available on bootlegs, pity that it was always in such a poor condition.........on every single bootleg which I found over the years seems to me that it was constant the same crappy version.
To make it clear.....i was saying the 12" version was crackly....meaning the record that is 12" makes a noise. So apart from the bootlegs from the 12" vinyl has anyone got a digital copy or even a cd witch is cdigital etc. I have something that 12 inches that id like to stick up someone on here now and then they wont be negative they will be positive long live hiv.

Spot on . Happiness ? is easily the best solo outing of any member of the band.
my top 3 in chronological order
1)I Wanna Testify (great "cover")
2)Strange Frontier (esp. that B-side on the 12"- ha ha!)
3)Pressure On ("developin' ticks")
1. Beautiful dreams
2. Strange Frontier
3. Touch The sky
4. Foreing Sand
5. Is IT me?
6. Man on fire
7. It's an ilussion
8. My country...
9. Laugh or cry
10. No violins
These are in no particular order:
Stand up for love (I'd love to have heard a Queen version)
final destination (the cross version)
foreign sand
happiness
revelations
touch the sky
old men, lay down
I cry for you
strange frontier
no violins
I'd agree that his solo stuff is the strongest group of songs of him or Brian. But Freddie has my favourites of them all.
"The Unblinking Eye" sucks.
But most of his other stuff is really good...especially Fun In Space, Strange Frontier and Happiness. Electric Fire is his weakest , imho.
He wrote some good stuff for The Cosmos Rocks, as well.
Let me repeat..."The Unblinking Eye" sucks.
