I have read on wikipedia (after typing John Deacon)
Brian has said that all Queen albums wil be 5.1 dts.
Hope the next albums will be Innuendo.
Who can confirm this?
I'd like to hear more stripped versions I hope this happen....

in dutch:
Restauraties
Restauraties is called in English Digital realm. In Dutch has been mentioned (see sentence in bold) that every Queen album is gonna be restored in DTS 5.1. But the question still is, is this gonna happen.
Strange enough this not mentioned in the translation to English.
So I like to hear more confirmations.......
So much fail in this sentence;
translated:
Brian May indicated having the intention to eventuallyrestore all Queen's work like this.
so, just an indication of just an intention to do something eventually. And a 5.1 treatment is quite the opposite of restoring something.
LOL this thread!!
A Day at the Races would have been next, I remember Brian saying something on his Soapboax.
Perhaps the 2005 HD mix of Teo Torriatte was a by product of this project?

Your memory IS correct, he did indeed say ADATR would be next. And sadly enough, we've yet to see anything come of it!
Hell, even Pink Floyd made good on their promise to get the Wish You Were Here 5.1 remix out the door although belatedly, with the new Immersion boxset. AND on Blu-ray to boot, along with the standalone SACD edition!

Not wishing to argue, Brian posted a lengthy piece about the death of Mike Stone in 2002, in which he clearly states they were in the process of digging out the mastertapes for Queen II and asking Mike to remix a 5.1.
I think the timeline was probably Queen II, but then when Mike died, they looked at ADATR instead.
Either way, it's a HUGE loss that we ultimately got neither :(
