I think its an OK cover considering im trying to cover the best singer of all time. And also i've only been singing seriously for almost a year now so take it easy
Don't publish your work if you feel it's lacking. You should never make excuses. If it can be better, then make it better before posting it.
Try covering something by another singer if you think this is too difficult. It'd be like a budding carpenter building a house as his first project instead of a toy car.
You gotta start somewhere, and covering Mercury definitely isn't step 1. Your vibrato sounds artificial and you are pitchy at times Try doing something by REM or The Ramones and work your way up.

Well this is where i am at the moment in my singing and i just wanted to put it out there.
Now how would i ever get better if i practised after those Rem or Ramones, they are not the type im aiming at? My cover is not THAT shabby considering im just a beginner on my way up. Just one year ago i was much much worse and practicing to Freddie made it better. But i get your idea that maybe it's not the wisest move to practice to the best.

Getting through any song from beginning to end is a great step. This includes adequately conveying the feeling and meaning of the song. And breathing. Controlling your breathing is the single biggest challenge of singing. Ask any professional and that's probably the first thing they'll tell you.
All you're focusing on is Mercury's vocal technique. Singing is a pretty big package, no matter what kind of song you want to deliver. So start small and work your way up. Ideally you'll develop your own technique and interpret songs to make them your own instead of trying to copy what has already been done.

Thing is , the way Mercury did it is the best way, so why not strive to do it the best way? And im not totally copying ,that is my style too even though it may sound as if i am copying. It doesn't sound fake if you listen to it, it's genuine even though it is done in the same style as Freddie did it.
Yea i know that there is alot to be learned with singing and breathing is a big factor. To be relaxed is also a huge factor and learning how to mix chestvoice, headvoice together and alot more stuff. BUT it certainly is alot of fun singing and learning.
