The other day I was talking to my mom about Queen, and she always says how she saw them four times. (1977, 1978, 1980, 1981[only the first night]) I always ask her about the 1977 concert, since we have the recordings for all the other ones, with the exception of a complete recording of both nights in '81.
Anyway, we were in the car, listening to the Earls Court concert, when she said that she remembers hearing certain songs from that concert. It was freaking awesome how she just popped out all these names of songs, seriously. So I formed a tracklist based on the songs she remembered being performed and the songs that were performed earlier in the tour.
1. A Day At The Races Overture (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
2. Tie Your Mother Down
3. Ogre Battle
4 .White Queen (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
5. Somebody To Love
6. Killer Queen
7. The Millionaire Waltz
8. You're My Best Friend
9. Bring Back That Leroy Brown (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
10. Sweet Lady
11. Brighton Rock
12. '39
13. You Take My Breath Away
14. White Man (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
15. The Prophet's Song
16. Bohemian Rhapsody
17. Stone Cold Crazy (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
18. Keep Yourself Alive
19. Liar (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
20. In The Lap Of The Gods...Revisited (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
21. Now I'm Here (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
22. Big Spender (she didn't mention it, but I'm guessing they played it)
23. Jailhouse Rock
24. God Save The Queen
She also said that she remembers hearing Death on Two Legs and Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, but I doubt it. She probably remembered hearing them on the LP the next day.
Cool, thanks for that. Indeed you've put together the standard setlist for the tour. It doesn't look like things were shaken up from night to night. They only dropped Sweet Lady late in the tour because Freddie's voice was tiring.
Did she take pictures at the shows?
