Potential bidders should note the £40 delivery charge.
Yes, as you can aprreciate the combined weight of the collection is pretty heavy and it has to be packaged well to survive transit.
Winning bidder is welcome to collect in person though.
"The condition of the items is varied but mainly ok/good. It was all picked up at car boots etc so condition varies and most is not of collector quality. A great buy for any Queen fan as individually it must be worth hundreds if not thousands of pounds."
enough said.
I'm not trying to be cheeky about this, but I think you're flogging a dead horse - the stuff is not in great condition, is run-of-the-mill, and the "rare" stuff you've listed are bootleg/unofficial items. It isn't worth as much as the postage price because of the condition and how easy the items are to pick up at boot sales, so that may be an issue.
To be honest the condition is probably not as bad as I mkae it out to be. I've underplayed it a bit because I didn't want the winning bidder to be dissapointed.
I listed "rare and miscellaneous" together but the 'You don't fool me' vinyl and 'under pressure' vinyl are definitely orignial collectors items.
I'm not a collector, just was a big fan as a child, so not really sure at the value. I know over the years it probably cost hundreds of pounds though.
Surely the collection is worth more than £40 to someone? There are over 80 items there!
I posted it on here as I thought it was quite a specialist lot and didn't want it to go unnoticed.
For folk here on QZ, there's nothing out of the ordinary in the lot - even the YDFM and under pressure vinyls are easy to find and are inexpensive. Most of the LPs are easy found in charity shops and car boots for 50p-£1 because they're the standard issues, but in less that Mint condition, they wouldn't be even be fillers for collectors. For guys with a slight interest in queen, then yes - but not for die-hards. And that's all you'll find in a band-dedicated collector's forum :)
as ppl in here rushed to tell you, this collection isn't really sth which would lure serious collectors...I suggest, as an alternative course, you strike a deal with a record shop near you
cheers
