Hi,
I didn't even realize there was a forum for collectors....must be the age.
Anyway, can someone please give me the value on the collectors' market for these vinyls I've owned for a long time? I 'm going to pass them on to my son so if he wants to sell them, he'd better know the right price.

The majority of these items don't do the rounds too often, and so will not be in collector reference books like Record Collector's rare record price guide or Goldmine. As such, it would be difficult to put a price on them. You should maybe check sites like Popsike for reference....if they've turned up on auction sites in recent years, posike lists when, where and how much they sold for - that way you can get a rough idea of what to look for....bearing in mind they're only worth what someone's willing to pay. If you think your son is going to sell them off, it's worth the research time as I doubt you'll get a definitive (for want of a better word) answer here. You could just (as I suspect you're doing) list the stuff here and ask folk to make offers....or even shove them on ebay, where they should reach the rough price they're worth (in theory lol).
For a starter, your USA "Beeb" promo picture disc has been selling in the £60-£90 region in recent times, and you should be looking for around £40 upwards for your tour programme.
I'm sure you're aware that there are a tonnes of collectables in that lot :)
Hi,
thanx for the reply. Yes, I've checked on Popsike but I can't find most of the stuff I've listed. Looks like press kits are not taken into consideration, only vinyl that's why I'm looking for help. I haven't found anything about the LV Army Forces promo either, nor the SA The Works with pix or the UK ADATR factory pack. I'll tell me son to check, he's the computer wizard, not me. I can barely log in. :(
It is really hard to price them just because they don't turn up much - half that stuff I didn't even know about and I've been collecting for approaching 20 years and have also worked as/with record dealer(s). Best of luck!
