Hi Guys,
yesterday, I took part in a fund-raising 18 mile walk along the Ayrshire coast (well actually it turned into a 22 mile journey after a botch-up in directions lol) in memory of a good pal's nephew, who passed away earlier this year following an illness known as "Leigh's" disease (a form of Mitochondria). The walk was to raise funds for Newcastle University, who do valuable research into this illness, which as of yet has no cure. Jordan was just 17 when he passed, although the average lifespan of a sufferer is only 2-3 years. This is a sad fact of life, but one that we can hopefully overturn. No family should lose a member at such a young age. We can only do this with research, however, and this is where I'd be grateful for your help! Any donation, however small, is very much appreciated, and can be made via my Just Giving Page by following this link: link
This is the fastest way of making a donation(and can even be done using PayPal) - and better still, it goes straight to the charity WITHOUT having to go through my personal account, so you know that it is genuine and not just a money-making scam of mine:)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and please help if you can. UK residents can boost this further through "Gift Aid", which adds around 20% to the donation by not taking tax. I cannot stress enough how grateful we are.
Best wishes
James (thistleboy1980)
