UPDATE: I accidently transferred my original share in mono, while the source is stereo. I've made a new transfer... stereo this time! :-) Wonderful how stereo makes the sound way more rich and lively. So also if you already got the mono version, please download this stereo version as it is a step forward in soundquality. Furthermore an update on the possible missing song "Foxy Lady". On Dime, another fellow who attended the show, said that they didn't play it. I also tend to believe that this is the fact, otherwise it would have been put on the tape (there was enough space left for one song). Enjoy! Tim new download link: link ------------------------- Hi! Many great things have been shared here lately. As a thank you, I would like to share the Düsseldorf show from The Cross on 22 Oct. 1991 in the Philipshalle. Lineage: SBD > ? > Live In Germany cassette fanclub release > WAV > some hiss reduction > track split > FLAC frontend 1.7 > FLAC (level 8) Tracklist: 01. Bad Attitude - 5:32 02. Like A Millionaire - 3:30 03. Ain't Put Nothing Down - 5:52 04. New Dark Ages - 6:05 05. Baby It's All Right - 3:41 06. Dirty Mind - 3:20 07. Man On Fire - 5:52 08. The Power To Love - 5:52 09. The Also Rans - 6:22 10. Top Of The World Ma - 5:42 This show made its way to the fans via an obscure cassette-only release in early 1992 through the Queen fanclub. After that, it was difficult to obtain a copy of it (the first time I got it, was via the good old mp3 server of Queenzone... a loooong time ago ;-)). It's often seen in lossy format in the trading circuit. I've managed to obtain the original fanclub cassette release and made a new lossless version of it. I did some hiss reduction (not too much, to keep the musical content intact). I was always in the assumption that this was the complete show. However... I also put this one on Dimeadozen and there someone who actually went to that show, commented that they also did Foxy Lady (as closure of the show)! So not complete after all ;-) But this is all there is out there. Enjoy! Tim Please only convert this to lossy for own use! |

This is one of those threads where my original comments disappeared so I don't know what I said. I can confirm 100% that Foxy Lady was played the end of the set as a friend of mine was at the concert and recorded the gig. Unfortunately he hadn't read the manual for his new mini recorder and although it had auto reverse he discovered later (to his dismay) that feature only operated on play back and not record and consequently he had only recorded to one side of the tape, about 46 minutes or so! He gave me a copy of his tape as a gift (not a trade) and hopefully he won't mind if I upload a track to YouTube for you to enjoy from an audience perspective. I must emphasise I won't be sharing it all in flac and it's not for trade and obviously it isn't an upgrade, so just enjoy it for what it is. I will post a YouTube link here when I have made the transfer and if there are any objections I shall remove it on request. |

Ha...Mr Scully's hosted image of my ticket, I see...! I was there too, but at this point I couldn't tell you whether FL was played - I'd lean towards "No" to be honest, as there was no reason for anything to be left off the cassette. |

100% played, I still have the note my friend gave me in 1991 along with the tape. He says he unfortunately didn't record the last two songs which were Top Of The World Ma and Foxy Lady. |
