Hello, just wanted to share with you this 8mm, perhaps for many it is nothing new, but there are emerging that are beginning collectors. Greetings from Chile Parte 1: link Parte 2: link |

Thanks but in fact this footage can be from any of the other shows of Hot Space tour and even from two different shows. |

When I synchronised this to audio, I found something what I believe are 2 different performances of Bohemian Rhapsody, but the footage is so low quality, that it can be anything. BTW isn't this TV footage ? Anyway thanks for sharing |

Hey, pittrek, look at this topic ;) link |

I do believe that is recorded by the TV, but the quality is PECIME. Lasts 9 min. Approx. Taking advantage of a consultation: someone has a list of 8 mm movies that are available to download? |
The Real Wizard 28.12.2010 15:42 |
This is the best we can do for now: link Thanks for this video, Simon. Do you have the original DVD? This mpg conversion has lost a lot of quality, but the video itself is the best I've seen so far. The lights aren't white blobs anymore... the details actually come through now. And the colour is constant, with no switching to black and white. I'm very sure this footage was filmed from the audience, not professionally. Some of the footage is distant, and very jumpy at times. And it may not be from an 8mm camera, as the 8mm format was losing popularity in the 80s.. Now that it's better quality, it's very certain that the footage is from two different shows. At 2:01, there is footage of Brian with the acoustic guitar in different clothing than in the previous clip where he is holding the acoustic. I have heard that this footage may be from Brussels, but it could even be from Cologne. But we don't have any pictures of Freddie in the striped shirt to confirm at this point. Or... who says the two nights of footage have to be from the same city? Either way, we can now be certain the footage isn't just from Boblingen, if at all. |

And you didn't believe me when I wrote you that the video comes from at least 2 nights :-) Anyway I think this comes from the SnowProducciones DVD, or ? |

Well wether it was recorded professional or amateur.... It was surely broadcasted by the german and austrian TV, the name of the program : DIE QUEEN SHOW 82. Silent though dubbed with Queen studio album hits. I do have a version of this one,did you find on my tapes Peter ? |
pittrek 30.12.2010 12:30 |
I'm working on the third package from you, and I haven't found it there yet. If it's on one of the tapes from the first package, it can be on one of the unlabelled tapes. If it's there, I will find it one day |

I think it should be on the tape witht the rotterdam footage, or the tape with Debby Harry announcing Queen before bicycle race. You can see part of the broadcast too on the tape "die queen show 82" |

There was another special with Vienna and Frankfurt footage called "Musik Scene", but certainly this footage wasn't broadcast, as it's not nearly good enough quality (what TV station airs ten minutes of grainy silent footage?). |

''The Queen Show 1982" was possibly added by the person who made the original transfer. |

"The Queen Show 1982" Wich station ? Is there a reliable date(except 82') for that show ? I will do a request then. |
Barry Durex 31.01.2016 13:49 |
^ I think they are agreeing it was never shown on TV, so there is no "station" |

A little update, I can confirm that Freddie wore a striped vest and black jacket with white shoulder arrows and black trousers at the Hanover Gig. Brian had on a white top with the thick black diagonal stripe. So that show might be a contender. |

Yes, but the photographer (and friend) who took them did not reply when I asked if I could share them. Common courtesy therefore dictates that I shouldn't. |
