Here you go folks. 3 songs featuring Dr Bri all in flac level 8 for you
Save Me ( Kerry Ellis) link
Im Not That Girl (Kerry Ellis) link
Gimme Some Loving (Elio Pace on vocals) link
Just for those of you who are interested in the file lineage, it goes like this -
Sky digital box > TV > stereo cable plugged into headphone socket of TV > audio captured using Adobe Audition and saved as Wave > Flac level 8.
Elio Pace is the band leader and piano player on this show. Show was broadcast on Sunday 15th August 2010
Thank you for these tracks.
Gimme Some Lovin'.... really like this one.
I'm not that girl... it's okay for Kerry.
Save Me.... doesn't really does it for me. Too far away from the original, I think, which I prefer most of course.
But I can believe that Brian is really into working with Kerry because she sure does have a drive.
I really liked her in the WWRY musical where she did a stunning version of NOBY.
I'd rather hear her sing new songs I guess.
Well, the other two tracks with Kerry can be found on youtube here, available in 720p no less!: link link
Goodness knows where these have come - they certainly aren't from the red button transmission nor are they from the Weekend Wogan website!
^ The three that I caught on audio were from the red button transmission I watched from last night. Slightly annoyed that I could not find a way to capture the video.......
I thought Kerry Ellis did a good job on all the songs. I kind of liked the fact that Save Me was different as Rien stated, and that, in my opinion at least, Kerry has tried to do a slightly different take on the song. Same with Butterfly, although I much prefered Pauls version better. I wasnt totally for Kerry's style of singing initially but I am kind of warming to her now.
As for Dr May....... I think he suits the grey hair.... :)
Capturing the video is easy. Do it the old fashioned way: SVHS or scart output to either a VHS, SVHS, DVD recorder or, better still, PC capture for easy editing and titling.
Brians wig, thanks but I know all that.
Maybe I should clarify that I dont have a vhs or dvd recorder at the moment, hence the reason I couldnt record the video.

Ah! The curse of Sky+ (tevo type device).
You got rid of your VHS because you stopped needing it! :)
Thanks for the tracks, they have great quality! I like them, but my mistake was to listen to the original version of Save me to compare. Kerry has a good voice but Freddie is unique and brilliant. I already knew, of course
For those of you who asked me thru facebook about the rest of the songs + interview on this show, here they are (of course thanks to my friend Dave for the first songs in excellent quality!):
I Loved A Butterfly: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6HKD16TW
interview to Kerry + Brian: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HI854SBT
both FLAC level 5, no need for level 8 since they are lossy ; )
(in fact compression levels do not affect the quality of the music, you've only got a file that decompresses faster, the lower the level number is)
