Hi People!
Since I can remember, I have this dream...
Realeasing my own disc! and now, since I have grown enough on knlodge and age (18 years old) Im recording my very own album...
I'll put some songs that I wrote... and I like to do some covers too... actually, all the covers are finished, only some back vocals on some, and my own song are left to record...
Of couse Im covering queen, among others like elton john, Im doing My own translated version of most of those songs... but still there are songs that are not likely to translate... from Queen, I've recorded 39, Somebody to love, And I want to break free, those two last, on Spanish language...
I played the piano, guitar, and recorded all voices, leading ones, and the harmonics... the rest, I used the tecnology to produce... Programing music is getting really a great solution this days... because of those VST's librarys and all...
Well, I'd like to leave here one cover of mine, so for you to tell me what you guys think about it...
I have recorded all vocals and guitars on a studio, and recorded home all the piano (electric) work...
But all mixing was done by me, since Mixing in a real studio with real audio engeniers is too expensive to me right now...
But I think that the result is really good...
Here is a link of my version of 39... link
Now Im in look for a record company to hire me... I hope to find one interested in my music here, since the only thing that is produced around here is all that crappy latin music...
I hope you guys enjoy it... What I have tried to do on this song, is to find a middle ground on Queen's live and Album Version... most of the arrengements are from the live version, but i tried to keep some things from the studio... and since brian said, on the hyde park concert, that they liked to do a version with an orquestra... I give it a chance, and replaced the guitars, with orquestral arrengements... and I think its pretty cool!
Ok. let me now what you think about it...
Thankyou! and sorry for my english, I'm from paraguay... :)
Ps: The "Ben-Hur" Name, is only temporal... :P
Ps2: For the bass, i used a Double one... liike the real recording, And im really proud of it! :P
