Sad as this is, unless QPL make these products official (which they could do if they chose to), there will always be a demand - and a supply for these products.
I do not agree with the bootlegger - but surely QPL must see that their closed-release policy actually encourages - rather than deter such products, and that ultimately, it is their fans who suffer?
Exactly. If QP had the right products out there to purchase, nobody would spend a penny on a home-made bootleg that's worse quality. So until then, it's QP's own fault that they're not making money off these concerts.
Who knows what it'll take to convince the right people that there is plenty of demand for good-quality documents of these great concerts. At the moment there are more official Hendrix concert DVDs than Queen, and Hendrix lasted about 1/5 as long as Queen did - and of course the recordings are all much older.
