Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again
Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this mem'ry bittersweet
Until we meet
Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget
Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light
Dear Martin,
Thank you for being our friend.
Detlef & Rami
Martin was a German fan, there is a message on the German FC page and the JDFK page. I only met him once and hardly knew him. It's very sad when someone dies at such a young age. I feel for his family and friends.

That's pretty bad. Well I feel happy that Scully is OK (I got REALLY scared) , but you're right, it's always a tragedy when somebody dies unexpectedly in such an age

Thank you for your sensitive reply. That was all I needed to know.
I initially thought this thread was a hoax - like Martin was a pet hamster or something - and that I was excluded from an 'insider' joke.
Boy, do I feel guilty now.
Obviously, my feelings go out to his family and friends.
Can you tell us a little bit more about him?
What was his Queenzone user name, or how old was he when he passed away?
Again, thanks for the sensitive reply, and returning this thread to the dignity it deserves.
Yes, John, I understand you. I do not think his friends wanted to mislead anybody with this thread, it was probably written in a state of shock not realising that there are more fans with the name Martin in the Queen community. I met Martin about 3 years ago when comedy group Burger Queen played in my city, he was with the "John Deacon Freundeskreis", the (in)famous German fun loving John Deacon club. He seemed to be a genuinely nice person. I don't know his age but he was a young guy, so it's a shock to hear that he died. I think he was on QZ but I don't know the nick, that happens to me often - that I don't get the online nick and real life name together.
