bryony 18.04.2008 12:58 |
It only says they are 'rumoured' on Followqueen.com This rumour is up on queenonline community as well.... I called Jackie at QFC today and she said she had no knowledge of further dates |
kingrat73 18.04.2008 13:06 |
I do hope they happen - Some more UK dates would be great. Mind you, it would be nice to hear about South America too! (Anyone care to donate to my Airfare Fund?? I have at least £3 already). |

So where is this information re the additional dates coming from?..... is someone just being mischievous and trying to get people excited. Your Valentine, you have dates....how confident are you that they are correct? |
A Word In Your Ear 19.04.2008 04:35 |
The Staff at the Sheffield Arena box office have not heard anything about it. (YET?????) But then again, with the staff at the Sheffield Arena box office, their left hands do not know what their right hands are doing sometimes. |
YourValentine 19.04.2008 05:44 |
The dates were written on a reliable site but deleted shortly after. Probably they were accidentally published too early. The message also said that the tickets would be available from May 10th, so just look out for tickets around that time. I am 80% confident the information is correct :) |
Jjeroen 19.04.2008 06:19 |
Indeed the source is one that has proven itsself to be trustworthy enough to assume this is true. I find it a bit steep though. THAT many extra dates in a country that already had so many shows? I think they will be overlifting themselves with these additions (like they did with the extra summer dates in 2005.) |
Pim Derks 19.04.2008 06:34 |
Godvoemmeth, now Vienna isn't the last date of the tour. Dammit. |

Well, said source WOULD know, but said source should also have known better than to post before it was official . . . |
andyhwood485 21.04.2008 03:27 |
Well i just hope it is true..... not sure how the rest of Europe is selling, but the UK shows are all sold out, so the demand for more shows is certainly here in the UK. |
olly1988 21.04.2008 09:04 |
I'd be pretty gutted if they announced a manchester date now. Ive booked my tickets for Liverpool! Somewhere I dont like going much if it can be helped, being a mancunian! Anyway, their promoter said that they had chosen Liverpool OVER manchester. Why would he make a public statement like that, then book a gig in Manc? |
andyhwood485 21.04.2008 13:33 |
The M.E.N. Arena is without a doubt the best Arena in the UK...... any Arena (the O2) that warns customers not to book certain tickets if they are scared of heights must be shite!!!! The M.E.N. would sell out, as would the Hallam and Metro Arenas. Any way, back to my previous point, which website did this advice about new dates appear on, can't we be given details of the site or is it some sort of top secret website???? |
gnomo 21.04.2008 14:24 |

I have possibly found the website which started the rumour- link How true the rumour is?.... well that remains to be seen. |
MTQueenie 23.04.2008 07:01 |
Thats not the original source though, the source is someone in the know so id say these new dates are pretty reliable ;) |

andyhwood485 wrote: MT Queenie....how do you know it isn't the source, and if it isn't, who the hell is the source?????..... why the big secret????... let's take a look at this *completely hypothetical* scenario: you know someone personally, who at some point shares with you something that, at that point, is still someone else's private information, although scheduled to be made public shortly; but then - oops! - the public announcement gets postponed at the last moment, and your source has to quickly backtrack and cover up. How happy do you think the owner of the info would be with your source, and your source with you, if you went around naming your source as the source of the info leak? |

Well if this person exists, they deserve to be outed....... if the information was thought to be reliable, whoever passed it on, brought the information into the public domain, presumably expecting some sort of hero worship for themselves..... they dont need protecting! |

Ive just booked tickets for "Disney on Ice" at the Sheffield Arena & while I was on the phone I asked the box office girl "If Queen & Paul Rodgers are playing there on the 19th October".(I have already asked about a week ago, but then, the box office said that they had not heard anything about it yet.) So today's short conversation went a bit like this:- Me:- "Are Queen + Paul Rodgers playing there on the 19th October?" Box Office Girl:- "I Can't confirm that" Me:- "So You do know, but you are not allowed to say yet?" BOG:- "No, It's not on our system yet, so I can't confirm it." "Isn't Manchester confirmed?"(she asked me) Me:- "When will you be able to confirm that it is true or not? (Sheffield Gig)" BOG:- "Phone back at the beginning of next month & we should know" Well, we'll have to wait to see, if she genuinely doesn't know, or if she does know, but she not allowed to say. It Sounds promising to me & what about Manchester? |

kingrat73 30.04.2008 14:18 |
There is going to be a pre-sale on the new dates for QOL/fan club members (although hopefully it will be better than the first time round!) details yet to be released. |
A Word In Your Ear 30.04.2008 14:42 |
General sale date has now been put back one week from the 10th may to the 17th May. |

Well, I bought two tickets for Nottingham and now Sheffield has been added. Sheffield is far better for me so ordered a couple of tickets from Jacky. Can't afford both, especially since it looks like I will be getting made redundant in the summer. If this had been 20 years ago I'd have gone to as many concerts as I could, job or no job. Fantastic a concert as it will be, I don't have the same level of commitment to Q+PR as I did to Queen. So I'll be selling my Nottingham tickets. Don't agree with touting, so I'll be putting them on here link Will post on here when they become avaliable (not received them yet). |
alibat 31.05.2008 10:31 |
Received tickets this morning for Nottingham. 2 seats, block 4 row B. Contact me via scarlet mist or pm me if interested. Cost £110 (which is what I paid for them). No touts please!. First come, first served. |
QPRTOON 03.06.2008 07:14 |
tell what is a rip... my dad got 3 tickets for newcastle, 55 quid each PLUS a 6 quid booking fee!!! not 6 quid total but 6 quid on each ticket!!! this is direct from the arena, what a total rip, so technically 61 quid a ticket >( also this has to be said...for those guys who said total rubbish and there will be no further uk dates.... ner ner ner ner ner you were wrong ner ner ner ner ner.... immature moment over =P |
