Has anyone ever watched this BBC series?
I have found it absolutely brilliant and breathtaking. It's amazing how much effort, risk, and endurance the filmakers how through to make this series.
I don't have an Blu-Ray player or an HD TV, but once prices get lowered, the first thing I would buy is the Planet Earth Blu-Ray set.
I have it on Blu-Ray and it looks amazing. There are a few bits here and there that are not in HD (slow motion shots for example). Well worth buying IMO.

Do you still have that image you made for the VIP package last time? It was hilarious. :-)
Yes, and I'm surprised I was able to find it. link
So are you guys delighted to have Artist Arena and Queen Productions rape you out of your money again?
I for once can not wait.

Ha..thanks! :-)
Artist Arena.....:-P They seem like a picnic compared to who they are using for the European tour. Being the crazies that we are, we'll be delighted to shell out the money. ONLY $200 a ticket to hear the Cosmos get Rocked??
Didn't they have one episode with blue whales?
Think of all the things we can see today for the first time in all of history - such as pictures of "the cosmos" (ha) and these underwater shots. Amazing.
The deep sea episode is pretty interesting. But i'll be honest, i stopped watching it because it is seriously depressing seeing how some animals are really struggling in changing enviroments.
BBC do have a tendency to make great documentary series'. If you're interested in astronomy at all you should check out the 'space' collection, it is bloody good!
