I'm sure there will be a smattering of new songs in the tour but what old Queen stuff should they play? I'd like to see Headlong, The Miracle, ISTWWC... ...really don't wanna hear gaga, champions, rock you again --- musicals there for that! |

A few songs I'd like to hear on this tour are: Long Away. Heaven For Everyone. Too Much Love Will Kill You. Movin' On (Bad Company) Sail Away Sweet Sister. Save Me. Heavy Load (Free) No one But You (Only the Good Die Young) |

Thanks God they will play new songs it really hurt my hears listening to songs like TSMGO by Paul. |

Could be fun to hear ... Keep Yourself Alive Liar Ogre Battle Stone Cold Crazy Sheer Heart Attack It's Late Anything from Flash Gordon I Go Crazy Scandal Was It All Worth It Headlong I Can't Live With You Heaven For Everyone No One But You War Boys The Call Take Love ... |
Mr Prime Jive 18.03.2008 14:35 |
the more bluesy material would be killer with Paul on commands. Things like "The Hero", "it's late" and hammer to fall could work great. Just thought the last time about Keep Yourself Alive, Tear It Up, Now I'm Here, Need Your loving tonight... all these tracks would make the show ten times better (mixed with new songs from the Album) |

Intro:Flash/Football Fight Hero Ride The Wild Wind Let Me Live Dont Try So Hard - this is way off the register for pr i suspect. Princes of the Universe Teo Torriante for all those outside of Japan Bijou for Guitar Solo |

I would expect very similar to last time but with less Queen songs to make way for the new ones. The question is - what are they gonna leave out?! |

I've got to imagine that the songs dropped from the US tour won't be coming back (with the possible exception of '39). The songs still being played during the 2006 US tour most likely to be dropped, I'd say, are: Reachin' Out Fat Bottomed Girls I'm in Love with My Car Last Horizon Bad Company Dragon Attack These Are the Days of Our Lives Under Pressure The Show Must Go On As an aside, I do hope that if they bring BoRhap back, they find a new way to do it. Playing the Freddie video again would kind of ruin the mood, honestly. The last tour was about hearing the music one more time, acknowledging change, and remembering those we had lost. This tour, I expect, will be more about a new beginning--and setting the climax of the show with something so emotional as hearing Freddie sing BoRhap for us from beyond the grave...it wouldn't be right. |

I actually hope they'd drop Bo Rhap. Or maybe play only some parts of it as part of a medley. I think Brian did an exellent job on BTTL tour when he connected the heavy section of Bo Rhap with Resurrection. Something like that would be great. I don't think they'll drop TSMGO, though. It makes such a powerful finale. Also, Roger probably wants his share of the spotlight too, so he'll be singing some of his songs. So, I don't think they'll drop both IILWMC and TATDOOL. Otoh, maybe Roger will sing some new songs instead of these old favourites. |

Don´t Try Suicide Man on The Prowl Delilah Medley: Body Language/Mustapha/Pain is so close to pleasure/Rain Must Fall Put out the Fire Cool cat (Sung by John Deacon) With this setlist, Queen would finally hit the news worldwide after all these years |

Just play "The Call" ten times in a row. Maybe if they do it enough, people will remember that hand gesture Brian tried to teach them during that one time they played it. "Are you ready for the call? No no, look closely... see, I'm dialling with my hands....." (dials invisible phone) "Come on people, work with me. This could be bigger than Radio Ga-Ga". |

I think they should drop Bo Rap completley, it was nice for the last tour but some songs should remain Freddie's and Freddie's only, that one in particular. They will pick songs with Paul's voice in mind probably. I wonder if they will play any of Paul's own songs from Free or Bad Company? |
Major Tom 21.03.2008 19:35 |
I would wote for Innuendo but since their not playing even close to scandinavia, I really don´t give a shit what they play. |

Songs i'd definately like them to drop if not already permanently dropped in 2006: - A Kind Of Magic - I Want To Break Free - I'm In Love With My Car - Radio Ga Ga - Reachin' Out - Rock'N'Roll Fantasy - These Are The Days Of Our Lives - Tie Your Mother Down - Under Pressure I'm quite afraid they'll also drop Fat-Bottomed Girls, which worked quite well, but i'm afraid they'll have to drop some more songs to bring in new ones. So if there's something [realistic] left I'd like them to add besides new material: - Bijou (at least some guitar bits of it could be inserted between the Guitar Solo and Last Horizon) - Breakthru (never played live yet, but would suit Roger, i think) - Heaven For Everyone - I Can't Live With You (never played live yet, but Paul should be able to handle that one) - It's Late (i guess this has been the most favoured song not played since first QPR live rumours had arisen back in 2004) - Princes Of The Universe (never played live yet, but would be a real great opener) And please NO Freddie-Tapes this time, that would be too blasphemic. If they're gonna do BoRhap then only part of it in an old-fashioned medley like the ones Queen did during the mid-seventies. Lately i tried combining the following: Somebody To Love / Killer Queen / Bohemian Rhapsody / Don't Stop Me Now which worked quite well. Leaves only the question if Paul could handle all of those. |

i totaly agree with the coments on boh rhap, id quite like to see paul come trhough the fall playing bad company, then do bohemain rhapsody. hes the man they have chosen an if hes doing the job hes worthy of singing that song. the old live days... id love to hear ogre batle an keep yourself alive, spread your wings, severn seas of rhye,id love to hear the hero. an maybe sumfin theartical. from miracle onwards... inuendo is a must for the next tour in some capacity, miracle, headlong, let me live invisabe man? scandal? id like a medely of unpleayed stuf. stuff from america japan and beyond!... dragon attack, bad company, teo toriate, under pressure, seagull. pauls catalouge... saving grace, mover, shooting star, heart of fire, running with the pack. i think more shold be made of pauls stuff.. wishing well is a great build up song, as is bad company his material is amazing, feel like makin love, wow! cant get enough all those songs are fantastic and need to be used! defnianlty dragon attak again, |

It would be a grave mistake for the band to leave Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are The Champions, and We Will Rock You out of the set list this upcoming tour. For the people who are just 'casual' listeners, they'll go "what the fuck" and feel empty handed. I don't care to see a video of Freddie Mercury during Bo Rhap though (even if the song was his masterpiece and precious baby). |

An underrated track and would have made a good single. Has a great bass line as well. Will not be played though. In fact none of the above will be played IMHO. POTF is the most likely as this is a rocker and has been played live before but not in Europe. I would love to hear Seven Seas Of Rhye. Have a sneeaky feeling they might do this one. Would suit Paul I think. |
