Does anybody think they are similar?? i have just watched scorpion's concert and i think that moves..face expressions and even style of James Kottak is VERY similar to Roger's.
by the way i also used to think Lars Ulrich's 'drumming moves' were like Roger's
i am really interested in your opinions :)
Kottak looks like a combination between Ozzy Osbourne and Roger. Well, at least that's how he looked when I saw him in a Scorpions concert in September...

They both play with sticks and hit drums/cymbals. I think Lars has the features of a dwarf tho'.....
I don't see the similar styles with Arty and the Midget myself....

Both were once excellent heavy metal drummers, and now are great pop drummers.
Both had once long hair and both now have short hair.
Both were once slim and now are fat.
Both make funny things with their faces which make them look like retards some times.
How many similarities do you need ?

Maybe we can add things to the extend of that rediculous Michael Jackson/Freddie comparison webiste:
Lars Ulrich and Roger Taylor:
- had facial hair during their carreer
- don't like to wear watches
- like to read in bed
- like alcohol
- play drums
- are right handed
This is the last place to be asking about that.
All you need to know is Andreas Mercury. Those are some serious drumming moves. There are those who believe that he is the percussive re-incarnation of FM. Many have tried to compare Phil Collins to Neil Peart to Roger Taylor (of Duran Duran), but they no longer worry about that kind of stuff. Read Andreas Mercury:

We had the discussion about Roger and Lars here a while ago. There have been rumours about Lars being virtually obsessed with Roger, but who knows. Metallica are supposedly big Queen-fans though.

Well, not big fans but, fans. Not like their love of Machine Head. But I'll pass on the Lars's Roger-obsession, that can be true. He's a odd fella that Lars but he sure can hit the snare. Keep a lookout for the new 'Tallica album BTW out 12 september worldwide! The few teasers and the couple of full songs I've heard, IT SOUNDS FUCKING SWEET!
