Hello Fellers
Recently I watched this Documentary called :
"Champions Of The World"
I noticed some live video shows which i have no clue about the specific date and time and never seen them before
I wish somebody could help us and inform us about the dates and places of these Shows
Here are some screenshots : link link
These ones were on the song "Tie your mother down" link link
Plus these ones are really intresting they appeared on the part where there's a cool "Montage" of diffrent kind of "We Will Rock You"-s
On the Bottom it says Munich 1979
I checked Munich Freddie Had no Towell on his neck while singing We Will Rock you only a Red Towell on Sheer Heart Attack while here it's Yellow one
Could it be from a diffrent night from Munich ?
Cause in Munich 11-02-1979 Freddie's talks about the Last night's Crowd
Some seconds later it will show up the same show but on the bottom it's written Saarbrucken link
This one was showing Freddie making the running move. Don't know which Date (maybe 1984 ?) Or Place link
And I really need help about this picture
I've seen the scene in "The Show Must Go On"
It must be on Crazy Little Thing Called Love (the guitar) but does it belong to Japan 1985 cause i didn't noticed the scene when i checked
Could anyone tell us about this one too
Thanks in advance
Rio '85.
It is Sydney 26.04.1985 as this can be seen on the audience video tape.
Incorrect. It's from Japan '85 (that angle is possibly only on the TV edit, not sure without checking). The clip of Freddie running is probably from the same show.
I think the first captures are from Paris '79 (again, without checking)
The TYMD clips from 1977 seem to be Super8 fan film (probably silent) from the audience but I've never known any information beyond that unfortunately.
Here are some screenshots :

These ones were on the song "Tie your mother down"
Outtakes of the TYMD videoshoot?
No I mean these shots appeared on the song Tie your mother down maybe it's a silent recording but it was revealed to be Tie your mother down
I don't think it's TYMD videoshoot cause the videoshoot comes from Earls Court 1977
I don't think it's TYMD videoshoot cause TYMD videoshoot comes from Earls Court 1977
So it can't be neither Earls Court 1977
No I mean these shots appeared on the song Tie your mother down (with of course diffrent live shows of tie your mother down) maybe it's a silent recording look at the black spots or lines it's an old recording
check out these screenshots too: link link
And this one is Rio 85 link
Thx a lot for your replies
I wish somebody could tell us about "Munich/ Saarbrucken" or even correct it
And give some specific dates and locations of each show
guild93 i wish you could check aout the silent video shoot (1977)
And Paris 1979 as you mentionned for "Munich/Saarbrucken" do you know if there is a "we will rock you" from paris 1979 ?
TYMD video shoot comes from Nassau Coliseum, February 1977 according to the Greatest Flix liner notes and not from Earls Court! The video was shot during the rehearsals for the US tour and it looks very much like the silent Nassau Coliseum audience video. The bit in the documentary is from the promotional video, I think.
The running scene: can you tell us where in the champions doc you can see it? Your picture is very small and I think it's in fact Paris 79. On a bigger screen shot we could see if Freddie has longer hair and wears this leather tie he wore in Paris.
The water bit is from Tokyo 85 as was correctly pointed out.
The yellow towel : no idea - I never noticed it :) Really interesting..

I checked the DVD, the running scene seems to be from Jailhouse Rock at Japan 1985 as I suspected.
Luke
The running scene appears on the part where it says "Freddie Talks" (it's the last part showing Freddie talking about his soft and hard sides ...) link
THX guild39 it's Japan 1985 thanks for checking
The Darck background made me think it's from another show link link link link
Thx YourValentine for the info about the 1977 show
I don't think it's Hyde park 1976
If it was Hyde Park it wouldn't be in so much bad quality after all in a documentary they won't put the hyde park with the countbar on the bottom they will put a better version
Don't people read liner notes anymore? Or don't they even buy the official products?
The Tie Your Mother Down pictures are so clearly identifiable, it's amazing how you can still think it's Hyde Park or Earl's Court. Greatest Flix was available for many years and GVH1 is too now...remember Roger saying he was blown off his stool...but that's probably the same people who still insist that You Don't Fool Me was recorded during the Hot Space sessions.
