From the MSNBC Santa Tracker:
Santa catches a wave in Brazil — 7:50 p.m. ET
Dec 24: Rio de Janeiro — Copacabana beach was rocking even more than usual this evening as Santa flew his sleigh just over the tropical waters. Crowds of late-partying sunbathers cheered as the reindeer splashed their hooves in the surf. “His reindeer were flying really low over the water and pulling him along in his sled,” one woman said. “We are so happy to see Santa in Brazil!”
Oh, yeeeahhhhhhhhh XD
XD That reminds me of this hilarious thing I saw on some scientific show...
These guys were actually researching how fast Santa's sleigh would have to go in order to reach every house in the world on the night of Christmas Eve in time for Christmas morning. They said it would have to travel faster than a space shuttle would have to go in order to get to the moon-and back!-in one minute. This guy says, completely straight-faced, in all seriousness, something like:
"It's impossible for anything of current technology to travel quite so fast, in fact it'd probably burst into flames after a few seconds..."
