Looking to, finally, replace my vinyl(which I no longer have the means to play) with some CDs. My son has claimed my Classic Queen CD, and, I aim to replace that, and, purchase a few others, as well, to round out my Queen experience.
What would be the best CDs to compliment Classic Queen? Or, should I scrap Classic Queen, altogether, and, go with something entirely different? Like alot of folks, I'd like to have all the best songs in as few CDS as possible. I am, tecnoligically, barely past the eighties.
It's up to you if you want to scrap Classic Queen, but if you're just getting started with your CD collection I suggest this: link
It gives you all their big hits. And if that collection of songs tickles your fancies then why not purchase each Queen album one by one?
Thank you!!!
I DO think about buying all of the albums. I had only the first four on vinyl, back in the olden days, and, the first Greatest Hits. Never did get Innuendo, or, any of the others on vinyl, so, there is absolutely no reason for me to NOT get them, other than time and space.
I DID, just now, purchase the Live at Wembley and At The Bowl DVDs off of Amazon. I just had to have them. I am so excited!! They sound sooo good at the MK concert, and, of course, the Wembley show has been talked about so much, here...
I feel like a teenager!!! Soon, there will be Brian and Freddie posters on my wall, and, I'll be making Queen collages to show my friends.
Did Queen ever put out a lunch box?

Again, thank you! I just bought the Platinum Collection, as you suggested!
This is just craziness! I am a Queen Fiend! I haven't spent this much on music in twenty five years!
Cripes, how many of the songs on the third CD are NOT sung by Freddie?
Das cool, my brother, I am just hoping it is only a couple.
Edit: The songs not sung by Freddie are just add ons, not replacements. I am excited, and, should have it by Monday.
There is even the lovely song No One But You, and, a couple other Brian songs on there.
I would suggest the Platinum Collection, perhaps, or the Greatest Hits I & II double-CD set. Both are fantastic compilations, covering quintessential Queen.
