No, it's not fake. It's an audience recording from the Dutch convention last year.
Btw: keep an eye on Brian's soapbox - I suspect a nasty entry as he will not be pleased that this one and Rain Must Fall got on the internet!
Wow... the people here must be getting dumber. A few years ago, people had the intelligence not to share convention demos like this. Did you ever stop to think why it says "property of Queen Productions"? It was to stop people from recording the songs, along with the threat that if they found out that the songs were being recorded, they would stop playing the songs at the conventions.
So, keep 'em coming... you're going to ruin it for everyone.

Well, actually the consequences this time might even go further then that. Chances are that if Brian finds out that Kashoggy (which is by the way labelled as 'Party' in the archives!!) and Rain Must Fall specifically are in here, the person that plays the tracks on the conventions will not be hearing anything new anymore himself!
(But then again, to some QZ'ers that must sound like music to their ears...)
It actually indeed DOES keep the anthology sets further away from being released (if ever).
See, 'hoarding' as people tend to call it, sometimes actually does serve a higher purpose.
It's not that I don't grant people the pleasure of hearing these tracks - not at all. It's just that I happen to know that the leaking of these tracks might harm some persons and as consequence the entire Queen fanbase.
(And the fact that these are 'just' the convention recordings and not the soundboards, does not make a difference.)

Personally, i think they add the "property of" BECAUSE they know they will be recorded and spread. Greg doesn't even bother asking people NOT to record them anymore.
You know, if this is a demo, why does it just sound like the full finished song? All the little bits in-between that sound new could actually have have been edited in there from the album version - then add some chat (from a sample cd) and throw a room-reverb effect over it all.

Ah...just heard Fred's addition at the end! Was it not for that gem, I would've thought it was fake!
Adam.

Yeah but thing that not all the people can go to those conventions... You have a big paranoid problem... Maybe you can't go to sleep without thinking that Queen Production will be enter to your house and destroy your collection.

From the 2 times I listened it IS the full finished song as it appears on the album. With the outtake thrown in at the end. But it is a version with all (?) the vocals thrown in.
Greg often does this thing. On the Freddie box there's also one. And for Queen he did it with Khashoggi's Ship and It's A Hard Life.
I rather have a normal take. With just one vocal in it.
